Outstanding Professional Quality Mouthpiece

I have been a professional clarinetist since the 1980s and studied as a college undergraduate and graduate student with famed mouthpiece designers and makers David Hite and James Pyne. After experiencing Ben Redwine's work through his work on Gennusa mouthpieces, I decided to try one of his Zinner-blank mouthpieces. On my Buffet B-flat and A clarinets, with custom-made Pyne barrels, the Redwine mouthpiece is spot on with regards to intonation. The tonal focus is excellent, although the overall tone might not be quite as dark as some orchestral players would like. As a solo and chamber music clarinet mouthpiece, though, this is top notch, and more reed friendly than most of the other custom-made professional mouthpieces I've played. Highly recommended!
