I teamed this 2.3 mm 14K yellow gold mariner chain necklace with a 14K 7 mm cubic zirconia 14k 7mm Cubic Zirconia Pendant - Measures 14x7mm - JewelryWeb The necklace is just the right width (2.3) to be noticeable but not too much to be showy for a ladies' necklace. The length is just right, too; 16" too short and 20" too long for the necklace that I was trying to create. Putting the cubic zirconia on a 14K necklace adds to its beauty and make it look like a real diamond. Overall, very pleased with this purchase!!! I did cut one star because the lobster clasp is so tiny and so hard to work. Needs a better clasp on it for the price!I also purchased it as a 16" 1.2 mm maricner chain necklace. That chain necklace is much too thin to really wear with anything except as a hint of a necklace. Too thin for a pendent. I'm probably sending this 1.2 mm necklace back.
