By P. Gray
1) YOU NEED A BIG WRIST, THIS ONE'S FOR SIX FOOTERS AND LINEMEN.2) YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR THAT 'WHAT ARE YOU COMPENSATING FOR Q & A' (SO DON'T BE,LOL)3) YOU NEED A NICE WATCH BOX TO STORE ALL THE OTHER PIECES YOU WON'T BE WEARING ANYMORE.I HAVE HALF A DOZEN INVICTAS, AND SLEW OF OTHER WATCHES. THIS IS MY FAVORITE. NOT SURE WHY- EXCEPT THAT IT HAS AN ELOQUENCE AND STYLE THAT CAN'T BE TRUMPED IN TIME PIECE THIS SIZE. I'LL TAKE IT OVER MY MOVADO OR ROLEX. THIS WATCH ENTERS THE ROOM BEFORE YOU DO. IT IS: FLAT. OUT. AWESOME. DON'T BUY IT> SO I HAVE LESS COMPETITION AT THE BAR, LOL.

5Colour-change Dial on this Beast
By cyberianmanx
Whoa...shock, surprise...looks are deceiving. In a good way. It looks like a grey dial sometimes, beige/champagne other times. Depending on the light it really changes. The rest about this watch is basic: tremendous quality.

To Court the KingBuy To Court the King

To Court the King Product Description:

  • 2 to 5 players
  • 45 minutes to play
  • Social/club life theme
  • Strategy game

Product Description

As a royal petitioner attending court, the players must parlay their powers of persuasion to gain the support of court officials and sway the King to their cause. The players persuasive powers, in a constantly shifting court, are represented by dice. Each starts with three dice. Each turn, a player rolls the dice, sets aside at least one die, and re-rolls the rest until he has set all his dice aside. With these dice, if they form an appropriate pattern, a player may obtain an character card, giving him another die or a special power. The first player to roll seven of a kind gains the King?s support and, possibly, victory! The support of the King (and Queen) is often the difference in the final roll-off, which determines the winner!

5A lot like Yahtzee.
By H. Nathan Morris
This game is a great game and can be a lot of fun for two players. It's basically a lot like Yahtzee, except you get to choose your character cards based on what you are able to roll (3 of a kind, full house...) with each one giving you some ability (change the pips on the dice, add extra dice to your pile...etc). The ultimate goal is to get 7 of a kind and get the "king" character card, but you only start with 3 dice so you have to choose your character cards carefully. Games are pretty short and could be a very fun game for up to 4 to 5 players. I personally have only played it with two people though.

4Takes strategy to get good at this game.
By E. Boyle
I like this game. It takes strategy and luck to win, so even new players have a chance. As you play it, you realize it has strategy as to what cards you choose with your turn. It can make a big difference in the end. The cards are heavy duty so they should last a long time without getting worn out. I wish it came with more dice, though.

5To Court the King
By Amanda Moss
My wife loves the game and likes how it is similar to Yahtzee but on steroids. Great game and will enjoy for many years. Cards are solid and the instructions are simple. The dice are good quality. Overall a great game.

5A Lot of Wow Factor at This Price Point
By M. JEFFREY MCMAHON
The Invicta Russian Diver Quinotaur 4578, named after the Greek Myth, a bullish sea monster with five horns, retails for $675. Amazon sells it for $250.Featuring a swiss-movement, rubber strap with silver stainless steel cylinders, and a 52 mm bezel (58 mm if you include the crown), the Quinotaur is a large, bold watch. I recommend this size watch for men with wrists at least 7.5 inches. My wrists are slightly more than 8 inches and I use the strap's third punch hole. Men I've talked to who are about 6 feet and in the 200-230 range usually make a good fit for this watch. The watch feels very comfortable and has solid, well-built feel. There's nothing cheap about the materials. If you're looking for Wow Factor without being garish, this watch fits the bill very well.I do have a slight dislike for the little chain that dangles between the crown and the bezel and I'm tempted to have a jeweler remove it, if that's possible. In terms of bang for your buck, the Quinotaur gets high marks. I like the Nixon 51-30 series, which sell on eBay for $300-330 with metal strap. For about $100 less, the Quinotuar delivers a lot of wow.It feels good wearing it. I feel bigger, younger, more muscular. My bench press is up these days. I'm happy to help my neighbors carry a sofa up a flight of stairs. I'm back to popping off beer bottle caps with my teeth. No steroids. Just a manly watch.

5If you like to collect watches, this is a MUST-HAVE
By Jason P. Mccoy
This is a stunningly beautiful watch. The craftsmanship and quality are of very high standards. First thing I noticed when I opened the yelllow gift box was that all of the stainless steel is covered with clear protective peel off stickers that leave no residue whatsoever (none). The crystal obviously is covered as well. The toughest part was getting the tightly wound clear adhesive that was wrapped around the small chain that connects from the crown to the bottom button. I found that small surgical scissors worked well for that task. Once everything was peeled away and I took a good look at the watch, I was amazed. The stainless steel is flawless with no imperfections whatsoever. I also noticed this watch is very heavy, which I like. And the case is huge. If you like attention, you will certainly get it, wearing this. People are just drown to it due to its sheer size. This is not a watch for the timid. The watch is very comfortable to wear. The stainless steel pieces that are interlaced in the wristband, provide a nice contrast adding visual appeal. I stared at the beauty of this watch for several minutes before I opened the manual. It's like a piece of art. I like watches that are easy to read and the numbers on this watch are so crisp making it easy on the eyes. One of the interesting things I learned while reading about this chronograph watch is that the Constant primary "second" hand is actually located at the 3 oclock inner indicator and is NOT the thinnist and longest "second" hand normally found in most watches. Instead, the thinnest "second" hand on this watch is primarily used for the stopwatch features. ( Technically, you could leave the stopwatch on continaully if you wish and it could serve as your primary "second" hand if you choose. In fact, at first I thought the watch was broke because the biggest and thinnest hand wasn't moving. Good thing I read the manual. Again, the primary constant "second" hand is in the 3 o'clock inner dial. The 6 oclock inner dial provides the 10th of a seconds while using the stopwatch feature and the the 9 oclock inner dial counts the stopwatch minutes elapsed. Underneath the 12 oclock is the date of the month which is small but still readable under normal lighting conditions. Once your watch gets a significant amount of light, the hour and minute hands as well as the tiny light green circles around the watch, glow in the dark nicely. This is now without question my favorite watch. Simple but elegant and the perfect all around watch. Nice enough to wear to a nice black tie affair but yet still casual enough when wearing jeans when watching sports or a night out having drinks with friends. It just goes with just anything. The watcth feels very well put together and solid. The only thing I question is the chain. I don't hate it. It looks cool. I just wonder if it will scratch the crown or case jiggling around. So, I'm undecided on that but will leave it there for now. Probably the only reason it is on their is to prevent you from losing the crown cover should you drop it and lose it. But thats minor. In fact, I'm sure any qualified jeweler could probably remove it, if it was a big issue for you. Actually its so small I don't really even feel the chain at all when wearing it. This is now my favorite watch and now will be my everyday watch except on a few rare occasions where something else may be better suited. In fact, on appearance, I would take this watch over any Cartier, Rolex, Citizen, Seiko, Movado, ESQ, or Tag H, any day of the week. However, the true test is how well is the accuracy of the watch. I just got it, so I cant comment on that aspect yet. But I just set it to the US Atomic Clock, and I will check it against that in 30 days I'm not looking forward to getting my first ding or scratch on this watch. It is that awesome. This watch is a "must have" for any guy over 200 lbs and at least 6 ft tall. Makes a guy in his 30 or 40's feel like he is 17 again.

5It is huge!!
By Bruno
This is a really Huge and heavy watch... Great for everyday use although it could be a little uncomfortable at times in the office due to its size.Don't even doubt that everyone in the room will notice it, maybe even with the lights off! If you have a strong and dominant personallity, this is the watch for you!!It fits great into my collection of Kinetics, Wengers and Stuhrlings.

4Tilt and Pull but Don't Try to Lift!
By musiced
This Humes and Berg Tilt and Pull hardware case is as advertised. It is tough, roomy and protects your stuff like no other. The only problem that I did not anticipate is the weight of the case. Empty, the case itself weighs over 30 pounds (the 14.5 case 35lbs). Add a couple of (light weight) cymbal stands, a snare stand, high-hat and thrown and suddenly your nearing 100lbs for a small jazz set. Trying to lift this in and out of a vehicle is tough! I'm thinking of replacing it with two "bags with wheels" to lighten the weight. If you're going to buy this case, start lifting weights now to be ready!

4Very good, some caveats
By Snoosh
We got this for our daughter who is a fairly new but really excellent cook with some formal training. She initially wanted a Kitchenaid, which she has used in cooking classes, and she liked the Kitchenaid model that raises the bowl up to the mixer unit because it's easy to add things to the bowl. We researched user comments at Amazon.com, Consumer Reports recommendations from their testing, and other info. The Kitchenaid (at least one model) is a top-rated unit but expensive and we were put off by the more-than-occasional reports of poor quality, failed gears, gear oil leaks, poor customer service, etc. The Hamilton Beach unit was at least as well-recommended, and had more consistently good reviews (albeit fewer user reviews than the ubiquitous Kitchenaid) and a much longer warranty period. Bosch makes a heavy duty stand mixer but it's rare and even more expensive than a Kitchenaid.Interestingly, the Hamilton Beach unit was criticized by some users for, (1.) being too light ("walks" across the counter when mixing thick dough) and, (2.) for being too heavy (for transport). (Too heavy and too light, eh?) We don't transport it, it sits in its spot in the kitchen, but it does not seem particularly heavy for a strong stand mixer. We have used it for many things over a few weeks now and it works beautifully, except that with thick or "heavy" dough, yes, it shakes and walks across the counter, and the forces can jam the bowl (which rotates and wedges tightly into its socket, making it tough to remove). The manufacturer suggested stopping it and rebalancing the dough ball, which we haven't tried yet, will do so and update this review. It's very annoying to buy a heavy duty or premium stand mixer and have it do this with dough, but not a "fatal flaw".Our daughter loves it. We'll see if reshaping the dough ball addresses the one issue, but that aside, it's a great machine at much less cost than a Kitchenaid, which works great but has some unacceptable concerns for something that's not cheap. Kitchenaid offers a confusing array of models, most pretty expensive, and from user reviews sounds like it's great most of the time but does have some issues that appear with some frequency, not what one wants to risk with something so expensive and supposedly heavy duty.Ordering parts for the Hamilton Beach, such as additional mixer bowls, is a minor pain. I do not see them on Amazon, a pity. The manufacturer offers everything one could want(it took some digging with their customer service to find out that they did, I think their web site needs work...) and their pricing is not bad, but the shipping cost is high, and I'm not happy spending $14 for shipping one $16 bowl. I do not know if getting Kitchenaid parts shares the same issue.Overall, it's a great unit that works well, is attractive, and carries a decent warranty. For anything but some types of dough, it's a no-brainer. For dough, it has the guts but we'll see about the imbalance problem. After we get around to a dough recipe, we'll try to fix the problem by rearranging it, and I'll update this review.

5Good!
By Frances
It has been one year and I like this machine. I use it mainly for kneadling bread dough. I have used 3 bread machine before, grey stuff stained the dough around the shaft paddle. This mixer knead the bread more elastic and the texture is much better. NO grey stuff staining my bread dough anymore. The color I have is red.

4PRC200 simple w/o Chrono
By B. King
Very readable and large dial, a great watch if you are a Tissot fan with discrete red highlights on the seconds and a T on the second hand, both pointing to the Swiss history and the brand. A very solid watch with a screw down crown, 200meter waterproof may appear a bit strange with a leather band, but I sail and have had humidity problems with other "waterproof" watches without immersion. This one is not going to have those problems! Lots of PRC200 reviews gripe abut the difficulty in getting it on and off with the mixed leather and clasp band, make sure you unsnap both clasps before removal, then it works great. This was one key factor for me, I love leather bands, but they wear too quickly buckling and unbuckling, this clever mecanism saves the wear on the leather (but if you don't unsnap both clasps it would be a nightmare to get on and off.

5solid, simple timeless style, great band
By Alan Le Map
This watch is simple stylish and understated, but not plain. As buying watches online and reviewing them is not my main deal, so I will focus only on a few details I think may be relevant. I will not be comprehensive, as I believe your choice will mostly be aesthetically and brand based, with a nod to price as well, none of which I will bother to advise on.The band for this watch has been a focal point in the 2 other reviews that exist at this point. As there are no instructions for how to open the clasp in the many booklets that come in the box (it really is a box of considerable homage to Tissot, even including a novella on the history of the watch) , I suggest before buying this watch, go into a good high-end watch dealer where you will be dotes over and try it on first. I enjoyed sitting in sumptuous surrounds being attended to in a very high end watch store on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich Switzerland, trying the watch on to be sure I loved it.They showed me how to open the clasp, which is solid, works faster and is much better than a buckle which kinks and frays the leather anyway. It is a simple mechanism. With the watch facing away from you, clasp the edge of the band between thumb and forefinger and pull up. There are two hinges.I have showered with the leather band, and it soaks up the water but dries happily without any crisping up or other issues. I just wore it a notch looser for a few hours...Size of face: I have large hands and thin celtic wrists. This watch is fine. It certainly is not in the "oversized range" . This watch face has girth / radius of 40mm, as oppose to the enormous 52mm IWC inspired watches out there.Importing to Switzerland. A good idea. Buying from this provider means the country of manufacture is clearly labelled and the package is exempt from import duty, tax and general post office hassles. This meant a saving of about CHF100 off the retail of 365 Swiss francs.

5Great watch
By 9t2hoo
I've had it about 2 months. It is (contrary to another reviewer) a genuine Tissot. The quality is exceptional. The watch looks like the day I bought it. It has resisted scratching very well. I love the clasp. It's a shame that not very many affordable watches come with a clasp instead of the old fashioned buckle. I have a Breitling with a similar clasp, and the price of that clasp was twice as much as this Tissot watch. What a value the Tissot is.

3Not my first use, but maybe my last
By David Kochbeck
In all honesty, I've used this combo system before, and I knew before I bought another that it was passable at best. But it had been a long time, and I didn't really remember how middling the quality really was. We're shooting long runs of footage - presentations, group talks, Q&As and the like. The sound quality is really pretty mixed. What's funny is that something that people claim to have seen - RF dropouts - isn't happening to us although there's a huge amount of RFI where we are, including a HV overhead wire electric tram running past the receiver unit on a semi-regular basis. My big problem is that the exclusion for the lavalier is actually TOO much. I mean, I like good exclusion from a lavalier as much as the next guy, but the mic position was really the difference between getting something and getting nothing. We're talking 1-2cm difference in placement here. The gain/attenuation switch on the belt pack seemed to totally wreck the signal and was not worth using at all: either you set it to 0 and it was just sketchy, you set it to -10dB and got absolutely nothing, or you set it to "mic" and got a massively overdriven signal. All in all, would I use a Shure system again? Well obviously this is again, so yes, probably. Would I buy this one again? No, I'd probably shop around a bit more. It's not a bad deal. It's just not a good deal.

5Perfect! Even works through ARMOR!
By Irishman
I need a pro quality wireless rig for my school Medieval Assembly business (KnightsAtSchool.com). I had tried a wireless set I got here for about $150 a couple years ago, but there was always interference. Drove me to the point I could not use it. Finally decided I needed to make a proper investment.Found this unit on some advise from the sound engineers at church, and I am SO happy with it. Simple to use and entirely free from interference. I put the over the ear headset underneath my chain mail head covering, and it fits fine. Even after I put the helmet on, it still works, though there is more echo inside that tin can! So happy with this. Now, the belt unit DID get very scraped up the very first time I used it, but I don't think most people will be wearing it with armor!

5Beautiful Watch
By G.M.
My wife bought me this watch for my birthday. It's an amazing looking time piece. It compliments so many outfits. I can wear it with casual attire or with a business suit and it looks great and it just stands out so much. I personally find the size to be perfect, but I do have large hands. Knowing that tissot is a quality swiss made watch just makes it that much more appealing.

5Easy Setup & Reliable
By Dan Chemistruck
Shure is known for making inexpensive and reliable microphones and this is no exception. Just make sure you set the wireless channels the same on both the mic and receiver, and that's it! I have been using these mics for about 3 months now without any problems and they sound great! Make sure you check the FCC website listed in the product description to ensure you get the right model for your area.Update:I have been using these mics for over a year and they run like they're brand new. Great solution for wireless mics.

5Great product!
By K. Myers
I love this microphone set - great quality, easy to set up and use. My only complaint is that for this much money it would be nice for it to come with a carrying case.I plan on buying another set as soon as we can afford it.

5Great start up set for wireless mics at a great price.
By Greg Sanders
We bought this for our church to replace a worn out lapel mic and to replace a corded stand mic. Get both kinds of mics in one setup is nice. Our worship leader loves having a cordless hand mic now! Shure is a great brand, and this was a lot cheaper than buying from our local audio store.

5A reliable workhorse for me in the past 5 years
By Chong Q. Wu
This is the most reliable PC have have ever owned. I use it mainly to edit my photos as I am a photographer. I have upgraded the CPU to a faster one and added the memory up to the limit of 4GB. It is running so well i feel I can indefinitely keep running it. And then, came with the fatal attraction of a MAC. Very satisfied with this Dell Dimension E521 - one of Dell's legacy.

4Good stable computer, but it's old now
By G. Farney
I had this computer, purchased direct from Dell back in 2006. I upgraded the CPU to the 3GHz dual core, upgraded the CPU heatsink as the new CPU was 125 watt instead of 89 watt, stuck in as much hard drive as was required, maxed out the memory to 4GB, Windows XP was nice and stable, added a couple of extra fans to keep temps extra low in the summer heat, but the best upgrade to be done was a video card, by far the most noticeable improvement. I use a reasonably priced XFX HD 5670 and it was great. At this point though, this should be the computer you're replacing, not buying, unless you're on a seriously limited budget. It works, don't get me wrong, but it's limited even in it's maxed out build. I donated mine to a non profit with a fresh Win7 build, it's doing great for basic MS Publisher, Word, Excel, and of course email and surfing. Windows 7 installed without needing to download a single driver manually, it was wonderful, if you're not sure about upgrading, you can with this PC.My only real complaint was that it will NOT take double size video cards, power supply is limited anyway, the single fan that cools the CPU is also the case fan, lose it and you're going to have problems, and of course the Dell proprietary components make upgrades more difficult (like the fan and heatsink were Dell specific, it requires a lot of research to find a heat sink that would work in this PC for the upgraded CPU)Clean the dust out a few times a year and this computer will chug along for a while to come, provided you're not looking to do too much on it.

3Not the best, but serves its purpose
By CJ
I have had this computer for awhile, and it's done fine. It's gone through a lot of hard work, alot of time spent busy. But it has held up fine and has satisfied me.However, it has not been the dream computer, either. It has crashed many times and has even had the hard drive replaced and is nowhere near consistent with everyday performance.I have concluded that if you are on a budget, this computer should be considered. However, it certainly should not be thought of as a top-of-the-line, feature-filled computer. It could be useful for experimentation, but not for heavy-duty work.
