Completely satisfied

I couldnt be more happy with this product. I have been looking at various companies trying to decide on a stand. Started looking at high dollar pitbull, then vortex, then t-rex, now this one. They all have the same thing in common, they are all some metal with a couple wheels attached to it. Nothing more, nothing less. So, why are some over 100 dollars? Made no sense to me. This is a great stand and is almost identical to the vortex. I especially like the double caster design (much like vortex) but with a cheaper price tag, the decision was easy.Assembly was a piece of cake. If you can brush your teeth on your own, you can put this together on your own. I'll definitely be looking into their front stands as well.

Great Stand at a Great Price

I looked at every make out there. This stand is strong, at a good price and functional. I lift my SV650S via the swingarm but it can be used with spools also. All parts are rubber coated so not to scratch the swingarm. It is a rock solid stand. I will also be purchasing the Pit Posse front stand. An excellent piece of kit at a far lower price than many competitors.

Worth every dollar!!!

First let me say that I got this fan for over half off due to the box being damaged. While I love it, I really don't think I could have forked over the full price. With that being said, this is the best fan I have ever owned. I love the top and bottom lights. They operate separately and can be dimmed separately as well. When you turn off the lights, they dim off rather than go off instantly (you can turn them off instantly if you click the button again). It looks sweet. As far as the air...lets just say that on high this fan could be used as a plane propeller. You do not want to get anywhere near the blades when they are on high. Last is the remote. I love the remote. It looks like a phaser from Star Trek. It comes with a mount so you can keep it on your light switch if you like. One other thing, there is no remote hardware to mess with in the fan. It is already part of the fans hardware, so you don't have to fit a receiver box in the canopy like some fans. The only issue I had was that the blades and the wood color on the fan body and blade mounts are significantly different in tone/color. It works but I think it would have looked better if they matched.Update: As of 5-14-10, the price on this fan has dropped to less than half the price(now around $219) it was when I purchased it. Its a great buy at the current price.

Great Fan - Silent and Elegant

Purchased this fan a month ago and at the discounted price - it's a steal. Not sure that i would pay full price for it, not b/c it is not the best, but just b/c it is still $500. Fan is silent - very little shake. We like the lights. They can be controlled independently. You can adjust the brightness - at low light, the bulbs give off a amber color. As you turn them up it goes to white and then to bright white. When we watch TV, we turn the top one on(low) and keep the bottom off. Give the room some light but does not glare. Remote is nice. The fan arms do have a different shade of wood from the blades but that is not an issue at all when it is on, barley an issue when the fan is off.Great fan - do not hesitate at the Amazon price.

I've been utilizing the fan in my living room and it's GREAT! You start out with easy instructions and the best quality looking product and parts. The difference in the shades of color between the blades and base trim are hardly noticeable. Lights are a bonus feature. Remote makes this product the best fan I've ever purchased in over 30 years!

A MOST BUY FOR DRY HAIR

I tried the full CPR at my (very expensive) salon and I could see that I could actually afford purchasing the two steps in huge size for the same price of coming to the salon only 3 times!! so I did. This lasts over a year if used monthly. BUY IT! you won't regret!! My hair is SO SOFT that you may want to rinse very well with tons of water before styling so the hair is not saturated. Results last for more than just until next shampoo.

Great Buy

If it is an educational star projector you want, this one is not for you. There are no real constellations or stars. However, if you are looking for something to make it seem like you are under a sky with thousands of stars moving around in random but smooth motions and with a great ambient blue 'cloud cover' light (that can be turned up, down or off) this is just what you are looking for. The stars move at different speeds in relatively random patterns, they are very clear and of several different sizes and it can fill the whole ceiling of almost any room. Exactly what I was looking for!

This thing is awesome. Green laser light scattered all over the ceiling (or where ever you shine it.) The projector also puts an eerie blue cloud on the surface as well. There are no 'real' star constellations in this product but the simulation of stars and clouds is unreal. This isn't an educational tool at all - just a fun light show.

Early failure of laser

Terrific product. The Chinese made Laser Stars projector was derived from a $3000 projector made in the USA. I had the laser in the bedroom and it was set to turn on for 1.5 hrs every night. The manufacturer cautions against leaving it on for more than 6 hrs. They should change that recommendation as the laser failed after 40 nights of use in our bedroom. It comes with a 45 day warranty. Buyers should contact the seller to confirm the return policy before purchasing.

Great Power Supply

I have 4 computers and they now all have this power supply in them. 2 are this 800 watt model and 2 are the 1000 watt model. One of my computers the power supply died and I was amazed when I put in this 800 watt model that the lighting was brighter and the computer works better, I am thinking the power supply that was in it was under powering the system. The main thing is the ability to plug in only the amount of wiring that you need so you do not have the excess amount of wiring blocking air flow.

I'm writing this review many months after replacing old power supply with this - it is still working like first day -and it worked great the first day. Nice quality build and cabling, best of all it lasts! It is in my gaming and image processing 'box' and this thing gets heavy use with both gaming and processing huge stacks of astro images (E6850Core2Duo @3ghz, ASUS maximus extreme 'ROG' dual DVD, DUAL sata hard disks -4 gig 64bit windows system,NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT)and it's overclocked a bit! So the power supply has the needed muscle and alos I want to add reliability, very good product.

We've owned this vacuum now for 5 years. I bought it b/c I was sick of buying "new plastic" vacuums every 18 months for $200. While this vacuum is expensive, it has never required repair. If you buy it from a royal vacuum shop, you get 5 or 8 year factory warranty and the shops usually offer free cleanings every 6 months.I drop off a full dirty vacuum and it comes back with the bristles cleaned and a fresh bag and a tune up - free!It's all metal - so no cheapie plastic parts breaking off.AND - it's suction and cleaning is absolutely fantastic.

Still working after 13 years

I bought my Royal in 1996 and it is still working. A year ago I had to take it tothe dealer and have the bushings replaced in the motor as it was starting to make high-pitched noise. Cost about $30. Other than that, its been great for me.Now here are the cons: My wife and daughters NEVER liked using it. Yours probably won't either. Why, because it is heavy and not pretty or trendy. Exactly the reasons that I like it. They are right in one respect: it is noisier than most vacuums and has tendencies to squeak or vibrate a little. So what?The thing you can count on: it has lots of power to clean the carpet - the primary reason to buy the thing. And it will last for two reasons: it is simple with no doodads; and it its housing and motor are well-built.My only real concern: my vacuum store guy tells me that the Royal company has been bought by Hoover and they don't really care to support the Royal line much any more. For instance, I cannot get the micro-type bags for it any more - which I must have to reduce the dust blow-off! So beware if this matters to you.

We bought our Royal Everlast in 2006. It has given wonderful service. This vacuum is well built. The quality is very apparent. The suction is so powerful that it lifts the carpet off of the floor and pulls it against the nozzle.At the time of this review, you can buy a new Royal Everlast on Ebay for [...] w/ free shipping.Some don'ts that I will offer for buying vacuums:Don't buy any Royal upright vacuum cleaner except the Royal Everlast or its commercial equivalent.Don't ever buy a vacuum cleaner at a garage sale. People have such a hard time finding a good vacuum cleaner, that almost noone sells a good one if they have one. My parents bought at least 20 garage sale vacuums over the years and not one of them, not even the old Kirby, was worth a dime.Don't buy a Dyson. The vacuum shop owner that sold me my Royal Everlast told me that he has been inside of thousands of vacuum cleaners to repair them and that the Dyson is built of parts that should go into a $100 vacuum cleaner. I asked him why he had several Dysons on his showroom floor. He answered that some people are just determined to buy a Dyson. If he could not talk them out of buying a Dyson, he would sell them one.

Capacitor Wizard in Use

The Capacitor Wizard has proven to be very effective in troubleshooting suspected bad capacitors. I have successfully found and replaced weak or borderline caps that other wise would of not been found with the current meters I was using. I am very pleased so far with it.Negative response: The Capacitor Wizard clue that held the battery pack failed and battery pack became loose inside case. I removed the glue and replaced it with Scotch double sided tape.
