Great Buy

We found a the sister mattress to this one in a store. It had a blue cover and no vent holes...usually for hospitals. We happened to check on-line and found this one. I called the manufacturer and they said that the white covered one was the SAME mattress, but intended for residential (and a little cheaper, but only due to the cover). The cover gets washed almost daily in a hospital and has to be able to hold up to that.Ok, why this one over other foams? We liked the density, weight, price and vent holes.Density--It has a high density (very firm) side for newborns and a lower density (little more give...softer) for toddlers. SIDS is a BIG concern these days and a BIG thing we parents can do is put newborns on a FIRM mattress.Weight--Changing sheets in a crib is necessary to remove the mattress to do so. This is very lightweight and easy to remove. The snug fit in the crib is very necessary so your little one doesn't get a leg/arm caught down beside the mattress.Price--Compared to an interspring or other foam mattresses, Amazon had the best price on these mattresses. There are only a few select stores that sell them. Also, I called the manufacturer. It is a small Grandfather/father/son business. This is ALL they do and they do it well and VERY resonably priced. You can't get a mattress from them for an adult...they specialize in babys and kids.Vent Holes--Since I mentioned it I'll expand a bit. Vent holes allow the mattress to breathe (like when they jump on it). Our daughter (almost 2) is starting to jump in the crib when she wakes up and sees us. It's cute and I'm really glad we have those vents.We are VERY pleased with this mattress AND with Amazon's price for it. I couldn't get it from the manufacturer, BUT I did talk with one of the sons when I called them! This is a VERY good sign of a VERY good business and a quality product.VERY VERY Happy parents...VERY happy daughter...VERY happy household.Sorry this was so long, hopefully it was helpful.Daddy

Best Mattress for Baby

My wife shopped around for weeks at retail stores trying to find the best mattress for our son that is set to arrive at the end of March. She reviewed all the websites and found that the Colgate mattress offers the best of all worlds having two different sides for firmness that are best for baby... along with having the highest ratings from all of the consumer and safety organazations.We finally decided on the Colgate Classica III Dual-Zone due to the reviews and quality that Colgate is known for. We got the mattress and found that it is THE BEST. Quality is excellent and is made in the USA and customer service is second to none.Fit and finish are superb. Do your homework and you will love it

If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive way to create shade, this is the way to go. One thing we figured out is that the measurements are from corner to corner, which means that the actual body is slightly smaller. We ordered the smaller size first and exchanged it immediately for the larger one. We used four poles set in concrete as anchor points. We also attached two connection hooks on each pole...one about 1 1/2 feet higher than the other. This gives us the option to raise or lower the shade on each corner for optimum shade during any time of the day. We love the fact that the material breezes and lets moisture through for our planters. It is amazing how much cooler it is underneath this shade sail. My husband was very apprehensive at first...now he loves it. We just had an outdoor party and everybody commented how nice it looks and how effective it is. My main suggestions is: measure properly and make sure you pick the best way to anchor it.

Coolaroo Shade Sail

Really great quality product with all stainless steel hardware. Really cuts the heat on our deck. Remember when setting your mounting points that even though the fabric is commercial greade shade cloth, it will stretch a little over time and so it is best to leave extra space between mounting points to allow you to retighten if there is a little stretching. The product comes with nice stainless turn-buckles to control the tension however I did not need them the way I mounted it.In my case I did not want to concrete any mounting poles in my lawn so they would not be in the way during the off-season when I take it down. So what I did was to put 2 of the fixing points on the side of the house over the deck and used two 1-3/8" 8-foot galvanized fence tubes for the outside supports from Home Depot with some standard fence fittings to secure 2 small pieces of chain at the top for connecting between the shade sail and a ratcheting strap. I screwed 2 shed anchors (30" size from Tractor Supply or find them here on Amazon) in the lawn to attach the ratcheting strap which provides the tension needed just like a commerial rental tent uses when set up for a wedding etc. With the 2 lawn anchors set at grade level I don't see them and can mow right over them when the sail is not up. I can set this up in about 10 minutes in the spring and take it down just as fast in the fall so we don't lose any light through our sliding door in the winter months. This is really the perfect solution for us.

Heavy and durable fabric

This is a very interesting product. I'm using it to make a sheltered place to keep my car, and it would work equally well over a patio area.The fabric is a tight mesh which is somewhat porous to water, so there probably won't be puddles overhead when it rains. It provides good shade. Each of the four corners is fitted with a heavy metal triangle "ring" to fasten it to the mounts.Included in the package are 4 mounts you can screw onto your house or garage, plus hardware (hooks and turnbuckles) to attach the sail to the mounts. Everything is of high quality. The parts included might not be exactly what you need to mount the sail for your particular site, so be prepared for a trip to the hardware store for more mounting stuff.Although the sail is described as "square", it's not really a square. Each side is indeed the same length, but the sides are curved inward. This makes the sail look very attractive in use, but I had difficulty installing it and making it fit where I originally planned. The instructions are pretty helpful, but nevertheless, expect the installation to take some thought and time.

Sony Marine Pack for the Sony DSC-T series cameras.

I rescently purchased a Sony DSC-T200 camera and the MPKTHE Marine Pack to take on an extended trip to Belize. I am an experienced diver and wanted a visual record of some of the great sights I knew I'd see along the reefs of Belize. I had some initial concerns putting a $400 camera into a plastic case for use underwater knowing that if it leaked, I'd be out that expense. Once I received the Marine Pack I was relieved to see engineering that went into the product and it's top quality construction. The absolute bottom line with this product is "O-Ring" maintenance. The instructions clearly stress this point and being a person with an engineering background, I followed the instructions to a tee. Septics in the dive party were all betting that I'd lose my camera to water leakage! All those doubters want copies of the dozens of photos and video I took on the dives. It worked flawlessly. I only dove to a depth of 90' (the case is certified to 130') but there is little of interest to photograph at that depth an a lack of light for quality photos (the flash is only good to about 3' underwater). For the occational diver who has already invested in a Sony CyberShot camera, the Marine Pack will do the trick (remember to maintain the o-ring properly if you ewant to keep your camera dry)!

Got some great dive pics

This is the third digital camera housing that I have purchased. I had previously used camera housings for 2 Cannon cameras I had. After using this housing for a week in the Mayan Riviera Mexico I would have to say it performed just as well if not better than the Cannon housings I used previously. The smaller number of buttons compared to my Cannon housings made using the camera underwater a bit easier than the Cannons, it however does limit your options a bit by only giving you 3 buttons to use. I was never able to figure out how to browse through the pics I had taken while it was in "Housing mode" but that was really the only thing that seamed to grab my attention. It may be a case of me not reading the directions enough to see how to do that.Loved the smaller size! Curious what a dive light or strobe used with this camera housing would do to bring out colors while diving deeper, but didn't want to spend the extra money at this point.I took the camera:* Diving up to 80 ft deep and took great pics. With my other housings I frequently would have trouble with the housing "fogging" on the lens on the second dive of a 2 tank dive trip. I did not have any problems with fogging with this housing.* While diving in caverns in complete darkness using dive lights. Pics here were not very good. After the dive I found most of the pics were blurry as I did not hold the camera still long enough for the dark exposure to take place. I would guess now that I know this I could correct the blurriness by holding still longer in darkness. Took some good video here though.* Parasailing - Pics turned out great.* Snorkeling - great pics.* Around the pool - good pics as long as you have the water off of the lens.

Works great. Easy to use for my DSC-T200

I am so glad I bought this waterproof case for my DSC-T200. I was a little scared to take such an expensive camera underwater but the pics and video I gained from my snorkeling trip in the bahamas were excellent. The case allows you to change pic/video mode, flash on/off and macro on/off. There is also a zoom lever as well. The case allows for the flash to work pretty well also. Definitely would recommend.

Fits well and feels solid

This divider has three spring-loaded clips making it very easy to attach but allowing it to hold quite nicely. Feels solid and has a nice finish. My only really minimal gripe is that it is available only in black whereas the crates are also available in white or gold.

New Guitar Players

I got this product for my grandchildren, all boys, aged 14-20. All 4 of them are into music and have been strumming on guitars for the past year or so. This software has just what they need to become proficient on the guitar and learn the basics, then right on into the intermediate areas of guitar. It also has different types of music; jazz, rock, hymns, etc. so that they can learn the ins and outs of different types of music. So far I am very pleased with the software. It was a little expensive, but so are music lessons and with this software the boys can go back and watch them over and over until they get it just right.

pretty shoes...flowergirl perfect

These shoes are perfect for a flower girl. I'd say they're medium width, a stiff leather and compared to Keen shoes, run true to size. My daughter likes them. They have no cushion on the bottom of the foot but the inside is a soft leather. They're a nice shoe. I wouldn't say they're worth fifty but they are pretty.

Towel Bar Boffo!!

It's everything it was advertised to be - strong, good looking, easy to install. I feared it might be too large for my small bathroom, but as luck would have it, it was just the right size. In addition to the towels I set my small radio on the top shelf. I'm delighted!

Just perfect

This matched other fixtures in the bathroom and was mounted by the cabinets and holds 6-8 bath towels well. The bronze finish is what I was looling for and was hard to find. It solved a problem of not enough space for more towels and is very sturdy and attractive.

For $80 Im dissapointed

I can get something like this for half the price at Target.And it only comes with screws long enough for drywall.Forget trying to install it into studs, unless you go buy different screws.It's also smaller than it looks.It's ok...
