Possibly the best 720P projector

Don't be fooled by the falling prices, the MSRP was a little over 4k dollars when this projector was new. It will certainly out compete other entry level 720P projectors. The contrast is phenomenal, and the projector is really a light cannon. I came from an H31, and this projector has much better deeper blacks, with more detail. Lines of resolution aren't everything, the overall image, the colors, flesh tones, the 3d pop to the image is just flawless. Overall i'll not be upgrading to 1080P for many many years, i just can't see enough of a difference between this and the entry level 1080P models i've seen.p.s. it's a short throw projector, so the image it can create is much larger at the same distance as other pj's. Make sure it'll work in your situation before you buy.

Superb DLP PJ!!

This is a very bright, very crisp PJ. I am blown away every single time I have this unit turned on to watch a movie. I have my PS3 and Oppo DVD player hooked up for DVD viewing and the picture is amazing! I would see no reason or need to maintain a 1080p PJ when this unit can be purchased for the low price you will find in the online markets. I run it always on eco mode and it is still very bright and would do just fine with some moderate ambient light. I have ran close to 250 hours on it without a hiccup. Highly Recommended!

Induro C-413

Just got done putting the C-413 with the Benro/Induro B3 Ballhead through it's paces. Works quite well with a 500mm f4 ef-L and a 1DS Mark III on macro. Yes I have a Wimberley and I love that head but it is too large for Africa and Air Travel so I went with the BallHead -- 2.4 lbs lighter and much more compact.1) The tripod is certainly capable of supporting any lens made by Canon and Nikon with any camera attached to it. 26.4 lbs is a conservative weight rating and seems to be based primarily on the strength of the top Casting (spider). The legs are capable of being used as a jack stand to change tires (perhaps that is a stretch but they are really solid!)2) This is not a replacement for a Gitzo Interpro or series 3 tripod, it corresponds much more closely with my aging and beloved Gitzo 410 in strength and size -- both top out at over 70" and are 3 section leg construction. Overall length with the ball head is about 33" -- not compact, but who wants to mess around with 3 or 4 twist locks/leg and a spindly lower leg diameter?3) Weight is 6.4 lbs -- this compares with 11 lbs for the Gitzo 410 with a center column -- adding the ball head got me up to about 8 lbs. The Gitzo with the Wimberley model 1 is just a hair over 15 lbs!4) Center column is reversible if you unscrew the bottom cap etc.5) Legs unlock and lock within 1/3 (more like 1/4) of a turn and do not rotate.6) Center column locks down tight vertically but still has a bit of angular play -- this will tighten up over time as the plastic clamping sleeve compresses a bit and is not a worry.Given that this is more like a Gitzo 5 series CF Tripod than a 3 series one in terms of vibration resistance and is well below 1/2 the price I am very satisfied.Grover Larkins

Induro Carbon is semi-pro

I got this tripod for use when I really need stability on night shots. It will be a few weeks before I will have a chance to fully test it, but based on the construction and weight I expect it to perform quite well. The tripod is solid and constructed well. Adjustments are easy to make with a simple turn of the cuffs on the legs, collar on the central column. There is a spring loaded hook at the bottom of the column for hanging a weight to increase stability. The tripod comes with a nice carrying case with adjustable/removable strap, inner pocket for accessories and with a cap for the mounting screw. The mounting screw is 1/4" and will not directly fit in a camera so you either need an adapter or head. I have a simple tilt/swivel Manfroto head that I will be using to stabilize my Canon 5d II. The feet are interchangeable so you can add spikes if you want to shoot in dirt vs. the smooth studio feet that the unit comes with. The unit weighs in at around 6 pounds, but that's quite light for a tripod this sturdy that can support 26+ lbs. I'm pretty sure that 26 is a fairly conservative estimate and this would undoubtedly hold a decent size telescope too. Overall, I think this is a very sturdy tripod that is well worth the street price though I consider the list price too high.

Heavyduty tripod

Purchased this tripod for expected daily use, however this is a heavy duty tripod best used with with large lenses which I don't have yet in my gear. This tripod can handle the largest lenses, however for a consumer user it is an overkill. I have since purchased a lighter version of this Induro.

Best Old Wheelbarow

I have had a "Brick Barrow" for over 25 years. It serves as a wood carrier and always has. My son wanted one as close to mine in design as possible. I found it (as usual) on Amazon. It came in a box to be assembled and to my amazement the instructions were in plain English ans matched all of the parts. The only defect was that the LOGO plate for the product would not fit as per the instructions and I had to "Jerry rig" it to fit. I would give this product a 5 star rating.D. Cameron

Great quality chess set.

I have tournament chess sets on vinyl, wooden and magnetic chess etc. Having several different sets I was still looking for better one. I'm not looking any more. This one, that I bought couple weeks ago is so great. I was looking for one crafted of wood in a box with, what is very important for anybody who plays chess, engraved edge coordinates. This chess set has it all. The big wooden box, side of 18.5", is made with a great precision. Truly, it is beautiful. Chess figures are of the right size; king 3.5" pawn 1.75", and they do not overcrowd the board, giving you great pleasure even looking at them. There was one thing required fixing though. The plastic forms holding figures were not glued but simply inserted in the box - couple drops of crazy glue have fixed that. That cannot change my opinion about this set. I'm taking a good care of it. This is truly a beautiful chess set. You will like it.

A little teak table to hold your cold drink on the patio

Oh, how I love teak! And this little, but handy, table does it for me. It came in about eleven days from the West Coast in a cardboard package that was smaller and lighter than I had been led to expect.It only took ten minutes or so from the time I opened the package to screw in four bolts to secure the leg assembly to the top. Eh, voila! Simplicity itself.It needs some sort of oil or wax treatment to make it look like the unit in the photo above. I just use a good quality home furniture wax. But for outdoor use in the sunlight, a good marine teak oil would be a good idea.If you take care of this little beauty, it will outlast you and someone in your will should inherit this teak table. Teak is practically immortal, unlike us.Teak is a beautiful wood when properly treated - highly weather resistant. Pssssst! Don't paint it. Please.

I guess 119000 miles was just to much for the stock shocks. Yes the rear Monroe are firmer then stock , but considering how worn mine were I'm not sure if they were any softer at start.

Great Buy for my 2004 Honda Civic EX

Car was 6 years old w/118,000 mi.....Needed to replace O2 sensor so that car could pass emissions inspection. Bought this part 2 years ago on Amazon at significant savings (I think it was $154 when I bought it) compared to Honda dealer or local auto parts stores. Although the car was originally equipped with a Denso part, is an exact replacement. Installation was fairly easy as the original was installed with anti-seize compound on the threads. (The replacement also came with the anti-seize pre applied.) The convienent location on my Civic EX allowed me to use a 7/8" standard open end wrench instead of a special socket typically needed for this type of part. Sensor now has 42,000 mi. on it with no problems so far.

Just the ticket!

Replacement air/fuel sensor ... for the 2005 Civic EX in our case. Our civic was throwing a P0134 error which is a problem with the first sensor ... the one before the catalytic converter. Unlike a typical "oxygen (O2) sensor" these things are *expensive*. Dealer was talking in the $400+ range for diagnosis, part, and install. Having to replace critical emission control equipment at 80,000 is a failure on Honda's part... I read this is a common problem for the Civics.This is not a difficult repair for the DIY. The sensor can be reached from under the car and you only need an open end wrench (7/8" works), not the typical O2 sensor tool sold for these gizmos. I was expecting the dead one to be stuck due to living in the exhaust stream for 80k miles but the anti-seize compound did it's job and it came out without a struggle. (note: the new sensors arrives with anti-seize on threads) The Haynes manual suggests that you run the car a couple of minutes to heat things up and that will help the removal. (The exhaust will be hot if u run the car, don't get burned.) I also sprayed the sensor - exhaust connection with penetrating oil before beginning.So unplug and remove the old sensor, thread in the new one and plug it back in to the wiring harness. I pulled the fuse for the PCM during the replacement ... once the new sensor was plugged in the check engine light was cleared and we've been good to go since.

This is a great OEM replacement for the 04-05 civic 1.7l vtec motor. One of the best prices (at the time) on the net. Only $160.So I ordered it a few weeks ago. Received it. The box was right, it had the 15473 product number on it, but when I opened it up, inside was a GENERIC no name made in china sensor, not the beloved made in Japan Bosch sensor. Ok, maybe there was a mistake, so I used Amazon's easy exchange policy, sent the wrong one back and picked up my new one from the post office.Surely I thought, the same mistake can't happen again. Guess what, it did. THE EXACT same problem. The right product packaging with the wrong item. The o2 sensor inside wasn't even a wrong bosch sensor, it wasn't Bosch at all! A cheap generic Chinese ripoff of a sensor. The guy below me seemed to have ordered his at the same time, but he seemed to have gotten the right one. Perhaps the warehouse I was getting mine shipped from had screwed up royally, or perhaps the vender Amazon was getting these o2 sensors from had screwed up form the factory.Who knows, but to say I was disappointed to get the wrong product TWICE, is an understatement. I called Amazon and let them know of this gigantic screw up, and that they should check into this problem so other people don't get screwed like I did. I notice now, a few days later, the posting is back up, but now its selling for $211 instead of the $160ish it cost me at the time. I don't know what the heck Amazon is doing. So buyer beware, maybe they fixed the problem, maybe they did not. I would have loved to receive this Wideband bosch sensor, as its an EXCELLENT sensor, and in fact is an upgrade from the OEM in my opinion, but now I have to buy elsewhere. Rockauto has great pricing luckily.

Beautiful canister. REALLY large size. Seal is airtight. Bought each one of the sizes offered on Amazon. Pretty color and looks exactly as pictured.
