Sleepypod pampers your 15 pound or smaller pet in luxurious ultra-plush and foam, providing comfort and security. The beauty of the Sleepypod is its versatility. A dog that needs to be aware of her surroundings at all times can be just as easily accommodated as the cat who likes his privacy. The secret is in the adjustable dome top. Removing the top altogether will give your pet the easy access of a standard pet bed, but as needs change, so will the options. In times of fear or stress the dome can be opened or closed by unzipping the center zipper and adjusting the sides. The bed is designed so that your pet can spread out in the way that is most natural for his or her sleeping style. The round shape will contour around your pet's body providing yet another layer of coziness. Because your pet will already be living in the Sleepypod, traveling will become much easier and less stressful for everyone. To safely transport your pet in the car, simply wrap the seat belt around the base of the Sleepypod and pull the shoulder belt through the top handle. The Sleepypod is designed for road trips and is not certified for use on commercial air planes. The Sleepypod Mini can be used both in the car and will easily fits under the seat on commercial airplanes (always check with your airline for their specific restrictions before flying). The black, ultra plush included in every Sleepypod is 100% polyester and is easily maintained with a quick vacuum or a dip in the washing machine: cold water, gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble dry on low. Do not bleach. All other components can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Every once in a while we get a product for review where our studio cats will barely let us get it out of the box. And while they usually like to play with the box first, they immediately were attracted to the Sleepypod.Wow, what a bed! This Sleepypod does it all! It's not only a great bed for your pet to sleep in, but it can also be heated for chilly nights and is great for the older pet.And, we all know how our pets hate to go to the vets, but with the Sleepypod, they can be moved right in the comfort of their own bed. The Sleepypod is easy to move to and from your car with the handle that comes with a handgrip, and easily fits on your seat where it can be securely buckled in. And if you travel by plane, the Sleepypod fits under the seat on commercial airplanes.The price may be a little steep, but when you think you'll only need one bed instead of the usual bed for the house, the bed for the car, the bed for transporting your pet, etc., it is a deal! And, it is available in many different colors.This is an attractive and sturdy bed, as well as being very versatile, and is a big winner at Animal Radio®!

Worth every penny!

I went back and forth a little before I bought this just because it was a little on the expensive side. I am so happy I bought it! My cat, Kingston, is a bengal and thus pretty tall and muscular. His previous bag was pretty snug, so he couldn't really get comfortable on car trips and he'd spend the entire time crying and trying to get out of his bag. With the Sleepypod, he has lots of room to spread out and lay down and SLEEP. Not cry for two straight hours. Amazing.When we're home, we keep the top off and he uses it as his regular bed. We call it his Hugh Hefner bed because it's fur-lined and luxurious looking and he looks so regal when he's in it. He spends a lot of time in his Hugh Hefner bed.Five stars from me and five stars from Kingston.

Perfect! Cat loves it!

This carrier is great. My cat in a notoriously nervous flyer Meow! Meow! Meow! the whole seven hours east coast to west coast. I bought this carrier and let him use the bottom part as a bed for a couple weeks before the flight. He LOVED the bed and did great on the flight.
