really 5 stars but cut WAY big around the middle

loses one star because they are cut 4 inches larger in the mid-section than all other carhartt OAs so the original order had to be returned. The return experience with amazon was very good though.Comfortable, strong and I love the plastic instead of steel hardware and so does my washer/dryer. Breast pocket arrangement is among the best I've used.

Fantastic; I've owned 2 of these for over 3 years

I bought two of these in 2005 and love them. They are sturdy, look great, and reduce the desk space consumed by "monitor feet" on my desk.I've had various 17", 19", 24", and 20" monitors on these stands. I have used multiple Samsung, ViewSonic, Gateway, and HP monitors with these stands--they all work, out of the box. (Apple monitors require a $30 adapter.)All screws are included; the brackets are heavy gauge metal. Big friendly knobs make adding and removing a monitor from the bracket very easy (see the pictures I've uploaded).If your monitor has 75 mm or 100 mm hole spacing, these will work--a simple adapting bracket is included, and it's very sturdy.I've used this stand to hold all landscape, all portrait, and a mix of landscape & portrait displays. It works great. It's possible to balance two very different weight monitors by sliding where the monitors sit relative to the base--for about 15 months, I used a 24" + 17" on each stand, with the 17" in portrait mode.Today I am running 4 x 20" in portrait mode to compliment a 30" middle screen. This is fantastic--the stands keep the cables organized, and only 3 monitor feet are eating desktop space in a span of 80" across my desk. The monitors are sort of "floating" and there's plenty of room on the desk for papers, phones, etc.As another reviewer mentioned, the monitor brackets can only be adjusted in one plane (tilt or swivel). Which plane this is depends on how you orient the bracket that you attach to the monitor. For me, I always choose tilt because I want the two vertical of the two adjacent displays to be exactly lined up, so swivel is useless. After a lot of fiddling with this, I have found I don't really tilt the monitors either, I run them pretty close to perpendicular to the desk. When monitors were smaller (17"), I used to tilt screens, but with today's larger screens, I am not tilting them as much, even on my free standing screens.However, if you do find yourself needing more degrees of freedom, Ergotron sells replacement brackets with a number of options. The individual DS parts can be bought from a number of vendors and mixed-and-matched to create new configurations.When I bought these stands in 2005, I paid a lot more money for them than Amazon wants now. The organization and tidiness from the stands is well worth the price. Ergotron makes a great product.(P.S. I've uploaded 2 pictures of my stands to the 'Customer images' because it's so hard to find good pictures of these on the web.)

Excellent Space Saver!

This product is well built and easy to assemble. It easily supports my two 24" Wide Screen monitors and saves valuable desk space, having the footprint of a single monitor.Screen height is about average for most standard monitor stands. At it's highest position the center of the screen is about 13" from the desktop. That's a bit low for me but I just used a standard monitor raiser and it works just fine, and gives me even more desk space.The mounting plate is designed for the larger 100mm brackets on flat panel screens but they include adapters so you can use this stand for monitors that have the smaller 75mm mount.Cable management is also a breeze, there are two cable clasps built into the unit, one for each screen and there are more than enough cable ties included, even some Velcro ones.Also included: All the tools necessary for assembly and adjustment; Thumbscrews designed to replace your original monitor screws but I opted to keep the original screws so I needed to use a screwdriver.I'm recommending this product to all my friends with dual screen setups.

Very sturdy, good looking stand

I've been using this stand to hold 2, 20.1" wide screen Dell monitors for about 3 years now. It is very strong and does a great job of keeping the monitors held in exactly the right place. No gradual sliding or tilting. The only negative is that the base is so large.Ergotron is a great company but if I had it to do over again I might go with an arm that mounts to my desk just so I could gain the extra surface area. Enjoy!

Warm and Well Made

This is my first Carhartt jacket. I've used it for about a month now and I am very happy with it. It is very well made and plenty warm for those cold nights & mornings. The jacket is fairly heavy... its not light weight at all. The fabric is very stiff on the outside, like canvas. It has loosened up a bit, however it still retains most of its original rigidity. The inside quilting is smooth and very comfortable. I work in SoCal near the ocean and the temperature gets around the low 40s-50s °F. Im sure if it got cooler the jacket would still keep me nice and warm.I paid $170 with free shipping when I purchased mine. I thought it was a little expensive, but having the peace of mind that comes with a nice layer of FR material between you and potential fire, $170 is worth it. This jacket should last for years to come.UPDATE as of 04/23/09: I took the jacket to get professionally dry cleaned per label instructions. When I got the jacket back there were streaks on the outer shell where the dye had bled off. I contacted Carhartt customer service and they responded that this was a known issue with the dark navy color jacket and the heavy cotton fabric. They offered to replace the jacket with the brown, get a replacement in navy with updated labels, or return to store for refund."The new care instructions state that taking the garment to be dry-cleaned and requesting that they turn it inside out should prevent the bleeding of the dye."UPDATE as of 08/02/10: The jacket is still holding up, however the dye hasn't been as sturdy. One washing at home, with the jacket turned inside out, on gentle cycle... some of the dye has worn off. Its no where near the loss of dye on the first jacket I received. It looks like its been worn for many years, or has been out in the sun a bit. Because of this, I'd rate it at 4 STARS. Still keeps me warm, great quality and build... just not so great dye.

Good clarity, Questionable Dependability

I really wanted to be one of the people that bought this scope, had zero problems, lived happily ever after and rated it 5 stars on Amazon. I am happy, overall, when i consider what it represents at it's price. I have, however, had a couple problems.The first one i received was mounted on my bolt-action Marlin .22LR. I took it to the range for the first time, sighted it in, proceeded to shoot several tiny little groups, shot the best score i have ever put up on a 50yd. benchrest target, and then i noticed the POI started shifting gradually. I was confused to say the least. Right after i noticed the changes i spotted the culprit. The erector tube was rolling around in the objective bell! Mueller took care of this very quickly and paid for shipping. Thumbs up for their service department.The replacement scope is optically and mechanically sound but the Adjustable-objective is off. I have to have the lens set at infinity to focus at 200+ yards. Not anywhere close to lining up with the markings. The scope now sits on my .243 varmint rifle and I regularly shoot out to 400 yards at targets and milk jugs and such with no issues but I can't quite say i have 100% faith it will last forever.

Great Scope for an incredible price

I have now owned my Mueller scope for over a year now, mounted on a .17 HMR Savage bolt action (heavy bull barrel). All I can say is wow.This scope is razor sharp, deadly accurate and has get ability to capture light. When shopping for a scope, I was looking at Nikons, Leupolds and similar when I discovered Muellers. After finding out that they are a Michigan company (where I live) and reading lots of reviews, I decided to try it out. Heck, they are touted as a medium quality Leupold with an entry price tag.Well, that is 100% true and more. I find myself making the argument that these scopes are slightly better than a a mid-range Leupold.I have since shot off about 2000 .17 rounds and the scope has kept its zero perfectly. The MOA adjustments are solid and easy to use without tools. I used Burris Zee Rings to mount it as Mueller recommended.What is really nice about the scope too is the ability to adjust your focus from 25, 50, 75, 100 and infinity. That gives you a razor sharp view at any range you choose to shoot to.Overall, I am very impressed with my Mueller and will definitely look to buy another one. I highly recommend it to someone who is looking for a quality scope on a budget. You won't be disappointed.

MUELLER SCOPE. WELL WORTH THE MONEY

i have (3) mueller scopes. the only thing i can say is how nice they are. the clarity at 100yds is great. i also have (3) nikon scopes so i would say i have something to nase my review on. a friend told me about the mueller line and i thought he was talking trash. i have one on a 17hmr, 22-250 and a 22lr. if you can see that at 100yds they can't be all bad. the focus is also great. if you are thinking about buying a mueller you will be very happy with their products.

Decent Scope, Awesome Value

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I bought this scope. The specs and reviews were good but it is definitely not a high end scope. I am very happy with it. The quality of construction is very good. It seems where they cut costs (at this price costs have to be cut) is in the finish. The edges and the overall finish is not as smooth as the higher end scopes. It's still very nice, but definitely not at the same level. But the performance seems to be top shelf. I didn't have the budget for a higher end scope so I was looking for this exact level of build. I am very happy with the scope and it is an excellent value for the money.

You sometimes get MORE than you pay for

Mueller has quietly been making some really great scopes. The glass quality is comparable to the Monarch line from Nikon. It's clear enough to see .17 HMR holes in a shoot and see target at 100 yards. The adjustable objective makes it perfect for rimfire shooters as well. Buy one before the price starts tracking with the quality.

Nice, very nice.

So i purchased the awesome Night owl DVR/Camera kit, and decided that the degree of view from a few of the cameras was too narrow. I bought this 1/3" CCD with 4-9mm adjustment and the picture from this cam is not only better, but as desired, the degree of view has increased exponentially. The cam switches back and forth between color & IR (nite vision) perfectly, so that you get real color during the day, and blk & white at night (not like some cams that have IR on all day which means the colors during the day are completely wrong on anything green like grass, trees, or brown). Anyway, the adjustments are easy, the mounting was simple. The camera is heavy/sturdy, and focus adjustment works beautifully (and is needed since you have the ability to adjust 4-9mm). The infrared lights up the night just fine. The color on mine is like a greyish tinted with purple, but not bad at all, its not like BARNEY purple or anything, just a slight tint of purple in the gray. Used existing voltage & BNC Video line from NightOwl camera/DVR. You can get a better view from a camera with higher tv lines, this one is 420, you can get 540 from other dome cams on amazon, so if you need even better video, spend a little more. Otherwise, this should do fine.

Good construction qualityEasy to use and work flawlessly in every mode with my K10D Pentax SLRHowever, wireless flash when use 58 AF in slave mode and use my K10D build-in flash unit as master flash sometime not work properly if I place the 58AF at the right side of my camera but work very well if I place it at the left side of cameraI love the secondary reflector as will recommend it to my friend as a substitute to the Pentax AF540FGZ unit

It works

I purchase this phone for my wife, close to a year ago. She called me and stated she dropped her phone in the toilet (no folks, it was before use). I told her not to turn the phone on (too late). She had done the unthinkable. I just knew I would be coughing up a few hundred dollars. So, I told her to remove the battery, leave the cover off, attempt to gently dry what you can, lay the phone on it's back, wait 3-4 days and put it back together. People the phone works. All functions are a go! Samsung G600, I'll call on you anytime.

This is the best phone I've had, It is really usefull, with an excelent camera, takes videos, voice recorder, etc. But being unlocked is a nice feature, because I travel a lot and can use it with a US service or at central america, etc. Good screen, lots of contacts, bluetooth and, of course, easy to use. Very recomendable cell phone.....

Inside the Nu Skin Galvanic Spa II

The Galvanic Spa II device is a good, basic machine manufactured in China for Nu Skin Enterprises. The Spa generates 12 volts from the two 1.5 volt batteries, and is capable of reversing the polarity.As the Spa is being used, the PIC microprocessor senses the current flow between the two electrodes (its tip and the skin), and regulates the amount of current flowing through and fixing it at about 200 micro amperes. It's is not a trivial function because it involves input current sensing, and output current control, in a closed loop system. The microprocessor also generates the beeps, and controls the LCD display. The program for the PIC is estimated at about 600 lines of code.There is current modulation and current reversal built into the device. But it is surprising that there is no pulses of any kind.It is a well constructed device, and there are three integrated circuits (including the 3 volt to ±12 volt converter), 11 transistors inside, plus lots of capacitors, resistors, and inductors.One could probably duplicate the guts of the device for about $50 of electronic parts (the PIC16F72 is about $2.00). Of course, it's made in China, so the overall manufacturing cost for a single unit is probably around $40 when mass produced.The ageLOC gels are very overpriced and there is nothing really new in the formulation. AgeLOC is a blend of ingredients, readily available and used in many other products. Rankine's Remedies offers an affordable, effective alternative to the costly ageLOC gels.

Worthless Galvanic Spa

I used the galvanic spa, as directed, several times a week for 5 weeks, but only on ONE SIDE OF MY FACE. (It is time consuming to use) I could never tell any difference whatsoever in my skin. So at the end of 5 weeks, I asked my 27 year old daughter to look close at my face to see if she could identify which side I used the galvanic on. She picked the WRONG SIDE! She thought the UNTREATED side looked a little better. I am 59 and I really needed some skin help - I finally discovered that totally natural is best. Now all I use is aloe vera gel (a certain brand with oxygen & trace minerals added) and I don't have to ask my daughter if my skin looks better now. I can see how good it looks myself everytime I look in the mirror! Firmer skin, smaller pores, skin tags almost gone, less lines, lighter age spots - and it's only been about 30 days of use! Greedy Company

Having taken a look at their marketing scheme, this company is greedy. First they sell a product at a dramatically increased price (over $300) which some say cost about $50. to make. Okay that's not too bad. That's capitalism. But then they come out with a more efficient product and one reason they give for this increased efficiency is the improved face conductor. Now do you think that they make a new improved face conductor to work with the old model. Of course the answer is no. To get the new face conductor you must spend another $300 for the whole new system. I am not sure whether the new face conductor will work with the old system. When I asked I got conflicting answers from their company. One person thought no and another thought yes. But what is most telling about this company is they refuse to sell the new face conductor separately. So for all of you loyal customers who have been supporting this company and using the old Galvanic Spa II, you have to buy a whole new Spa II to get the benefits of the new face conductor. I call this greed.

not the perfect chair...comfortable but several flaws

Pros:It definitely helps my back. I can work for hours with my laptop and have no pain whatsoever. It's way better than sitting upright in my office chair. I use it every day and it's extremely comfortable. I can't fault it on that.Cons:1. It is made out of very thin painted-on fake leather, and any tiny scratch shows the light-colored material underneath which looks awful. I have a cat, and she likes to climb up the chair to sit above my head, so forget about it. It looked dinged up the first week, and now it looks horrible. I really, really wish they would just use real upholstery fabric which can hold up way better to real use. We don't all live in pristine minimalist houses with no pets or kids.2. The leg rest almost immediately became bowed as the support started bending. There was hardly any strength to it. This is why they warn you all over the manual to not stand up until you've put the chair ALL the way back into an upright position. But come on - that takes forever. I am in and out of this chair all day, sometimes I'm just going to hop out of the chair. And any bit of excess pressure on the leg rest made it bow. What I ended up doing is have my brother reinforce it with a 2 x 4 - which worked great, but I don't expect to have to retrofit a $2000 chair myself a few months after owning it.3. The cushion on the foot rest is not memory foam or latex which means it gets compressed, and pretty quickly. There's a big valley in mine now, where my legs go. That goes for my butt too - the padding under it is getting thinner as time goes on.So. Basically I just don't think it's a very high quality product. It's a well thought out concept, and the proportions and design are great. But the implementation is with poor quality materials - cheap fabric, cheap foam, and inadequate reinforcement.For this much money, they could easily use a foam like latex that holds its shape and lasts for decades. They could easily offer real leather, or a durable and attractive upholstery fabric. And they could obviously reinforce it more - we did it in about half an hour.I'm disappointed that for the price you don't get better quality. Unfortunately it's the only chair like it that I've found so I guess I'm going to be living with it for awhile.

A fix for back pain, neck pain, and knee pain

Sitting is the worst thing you can do for you back....unless you're in this chair. Even sitting slightly back in this chair relieves the pressure on the back. This chair is manual, which is fine with us as it means one less thing to break!The red leather is a nice red color with good quality leather.The manual recline lets you adjust to many different positions, not like a typical recliner with just three positions.The top section can be adjusted flat and forward and the pillow can be removed or positioned anyway you like it. I found the padding to be too much in my pillow and removed part of the stuffing. I suppose if it's not enough you could add some as well. Actually now that I'm talking about it, memory foam in this pillow would be awesome!If you have difficulty getting into a chair, this one might not be the one, but rather the wood base model that's not enclosed. With the enclosed base, the chair bottom doesn't rest flush or vertical but rather out a bit.My husband had a swollen knee a few weeks ago...he must of twisted working around the yard. He sat in the leather sectional with his leg up on the ottoman because his chair is sort of out of optimum viewing of the TV. That lasted for a few minutes. He sat in his chair and immediately felt the relief on his knee. I have suffered from neck pain which I now think started in my mid back. This chair has helped considerably.I wasn't drawn to this chair for its looks, but rather the comfort. As I said to a friend while shopping when she asked me about some shoes. "They better be comfortable because they're ugly!" This chair isn't "ugly" and it's sort of like a person with the good personality, that gets prettier once you know them! LOL! We bought two of these chairs; one for me and one for my husband. We're constantly telling our children to move when we want to use them. And our guests are drawn to them as well, despite having a big comfy leather sectional available.You won't be disappointed in this purchase. I called the company and asked why they were selling so cheap and what was the PC-80 model as the description is lacking. She said the red leather wasn't a popular color which has been discontinued and they no longer make the enclosed base in a manual recline. That's o.k. with me. I like the combo and this chair at $999 is about half to over half of retail.

This chair is perfect

If your tall and old and your back is starting to hurt ... you might want to invest in a zero gravity chair. I love my chair. I put a heating pad in the small of my back, recline into the padded leather, and watch the tv between my toes. With the padded design ... the elbows fit perfectly, and you can tuck yourself in just right. I cannot count the number of movies I have missed because I nodded off into a comfy nap. And when I wake up, my back feels good. If you worked a little too hard ... you owe yourself this chair.
