Purchased several dozen of these switches. All have been running for almost a year now with zero issues hardware-wise. SMTP monitoring is a little shady though since sometimes they report undocumented alerts. We run a 1G network and use several using jumbo packets and POE phones. They are used in our remote locations. We use high end Cisco Catalyst POE switches at our main branches and these units have made a super compliment to our small branches for a couple hunderd dollars vs spending $4k on a Cisco POE switch. As a side note, I also use a couple of these at home for my home network and 6 POE security cameras. On all the time for the past year and not an issue yet. For the money - these truly can't be beat.

I bought this switch to be a flat dumb POE switch for Ubiquiti WAPs*. As I'm using the default configuration, I can't speak to the management features.I was a little hesitant after reading an earlier review stating that the mounting ears weren't spaced for a 19" rack, but the unit I received had mounting ears that fit a 19" rack perfectly.* Application note for use with the Ubiquiti UniFi WAPs - This switch supplies 802.3af POE power, which queries clients for power needs, then supplies 48ish volts to the devices which are 802.3af compliant. The UniFi WAPs are looking for 16-18vdc of passive POE voltage from the injectors supplied with the devices. If you connect a UniFi WAP directly to this switch, the switch will query the WAP, see that it's not 802.3af compliant, then refuse to power the device. This a great behavior, as supplying 48vdc to these WAPs will fry them. In order to use a UniFi WAP with this switch, you'll need to purchase the "Instant 802.3af" adapter from Ubiquiti, which sits between the WAP and the switch (preferably on the WAP end of the run) and handles 802.3af negotiation and drops the supply voltage to a safe level for the UniFi devices.

And I have quite a few. I have a few servers with 2x 1Gb NICs and this switch connects them to a storage subnet I have using ATAoE. The support for 1Gb and jumbo frames gives me excellent value at this price.
