5EVERYTHING I EXPECTED FROM ROLAND!
By SFC Smoker
Roland never ceases to amaze me. I have a set of TD-15K's which I use at home to practice with. Bought this amp, because I am becoming ever-increasingly "addicted" to ear buds, and when I play my acoustics with the band, it is becoming awkward for me using a monitor, seeing how all I practice with are the earbuds (musicians with this experience will understand). SO, I bought the PM-30 to overcome this addiction, and I am glad that I made the purchase. This thing rocks! I don't think of it as a monitor, as its more like an amplifier. I practice with the volume on 2, and my wife still yells that its too loud. I play with a keyboard player and this amp is set up with several inputs, and he and I both are able to play in a small to medium sized room using the PM-30 as an amp.It comes with the large cabinet which encases the woofer (I believe its a 12") and two separate speakers (tweeters isn't a good description), which I have connected to the top bar of the cabinet.I love it because I can play my drumless tracks and practice along, very simply. It retails for 699 all day long, and it is well worth the money spent. If you are a drummer that has a set of V-drums, I highly recommend getting you one of these! I haven't had it that long, so I'm still playing around with the sound and learning new uses so, thats about all I have. I might mention that it cranks at 200 watts, enough to shake the windows in our house, and make the dogs howl!

5well built and accurate
By Mmo
i have this unit connected to my roland VD 8. like everything this company makes, it exceeded my expectations. heavy, on wheels and professional quality. real musicians, unlike me, could show up to a gig with this and play drums or key boards thru it.very adjustable, tons of fun, thunderous bass, ringing highs and will last forever.nothing more to be said.
