Perfect upgrade for my amp

I have a ValveTrain Concord (Great amp, 5F2 circuit like Princeton), and it came with a good speaker, but I wanted to see if I could get a little more character. This speaker had good rep for nailing almost alnico-like clarity, so I was optimistic, but a little concerned it might be too brittle. No worries: all around excellent upgrade adding more bottom, keeping the mids clear and detailed, and putting just the right amount of chime in the top. I feel like this is the perfect speaker for this style amp. For Princeton style amp, this is the one.

I pulled the lame sounding, stock, low budget Chinese made speaker out of my Pignose G40V. For years, I used the Pignose as a head only. I saw this speaker on sale for $39.95, read the reviews and decided it was worth a try. I'm very happy with it. Nice, Fender- chimey cleans are where the speaker is at its best, but it handles the overdrive pretty well also.This speaker is a tremendous value and a solid performer.
