It's legit.

Awesome strobe, used one for years as in the Marines. it's bright, compact, and durable. Be careful of corrosion though, fresh water rinse if it gets salt water on it (duh). I just bought the orange civilian version, because I don't need a tactical IR filter anymore.

I own 2 of these and never fly without it. If you're having to go into harms way, this very compact device can be the difference between life and death. I've used mine extensively when flying from FOB to FOB in Afghanistan. The ACR is very compact and well built, (durable) fully water proof. I've found that using Lithium batteries extends the life of the signal dramatically and ensures its function in extreme cold weather. The IR shield allows you to signal US rescue craft at night without letting any unfriendlies in the area know where you are. This is standard issue to active military personnel, highly recommeneded for independent contractors needing to move around outside the wire. Worth the investment, highly recommended.

Great peice of gear. As a JTAC I have used this marker successfully in marking for aircraft friendly positions as well as LZ's. This strobe is superior to the 9v strobes and the IR fireflys issued to regular military. The Aircraft will see this!!!It arrived quickly and in good order espescial considering it had to be mailed to an active combat zone. 5 stars, worth every penny.
