Product Description

10 x 50mm 19-1050 Magnum-powered for big game and birds. For those who prefer the traditional style of a porro prism bino, this Legend™ lineup is a crowd pleaser. Like the Legend roof prism models, Rainguard® and premium BaK-4 prisms top the list of features to brag about – delivering crisp, clear images in rain, snow and fog. The textured, grippy rubber-armored housing not only stands up to hard use but provides a firm grasp in wet conditions. Offered in three magnifications, from powerful, long-range 12 x 50s to compact, wide-angle performers. Fully Multi-Coated, BaK-4 Porro Prisms: Like our Legend™ roof prism models, Legend porro prism binoculars feature fully multi-coated optics, so every lens surface – on the inside and out – is specially treated to reduce light reflection and significantly increase brightness and image clarity. Our wide-angle porro prisms are made from premium-quality BaK-4 glass, which delivers a significantly brighter and clearer image – from edge to edge.

5Superb Optics!
By Tee Jay
I have to say that the Bushnell Legend 10x50 Porro Prism Binoculars are the best I've owned for the value of my money. I've tested roof prisms binoculars that are hundreds of dollars more and this binocular offer excellent low light view, rich depth of field, wide field of view, and bright sharp three-dimensional image. Why is this? Roof binoculars have 6 different prism reflections of light and porro binoculars have 4 different prism reflections of light. This is important because each time light reflects off of one of the surfaces inside the prisms, you are loosing a fraction of light. So the fewer reflections you have, the more light is transmitted through a binocular. As a result Porro prism binoculars like this one remain the best buy for your optical dollar! Highly recommended!

4Very good value
By Skoro
These binos represent a best buy in terms of the performance offered for the price. The mechanics and ergonomics are well designed, making it very comfortable to use. Eye relief is very good, an important consideration for eyeglass wearers. The rugged weatherproof construction is a must-have for anyone intending to use these under less than ideal conditions outdoors. Under the night sky, the Legends reveals a lot of detail, as its 50mm objective lenses gather a lot of light. Jupiter's moons stand out nicely. The Pleiades are sparkling jewels. The Orion nebula stand out as more than just a faint smudge. There's some edge distortion, but that has to be expected in this price range. For viewing wildlife, they're outstanding, provided you can get a support to steady your hands. They're kinda bulky for taking to sporting events, but that's not really their intended purpose. Recommended.

5Good Solid Binocular
By David Robert
The last time I had purchased a binocular was a Bushnell 8x25 in 1975 at the PX while serving in Korea. I'm still happy with that little pair, but I decided I needed a second pair and purchased the Bushnell 10X50 Porro WP. Wow! Except for the larger size this binocular is a pleasure to use. Everything is extremely bright and clear seen through this binocular. Its water and fog proof capability gives confidence for using them in any outdoor conditions.Unfortunately(for my pocket book), purchasing this pair has awakened a curiosity in the difference between different binoculars. Bushnell's Elite line are sold for around a thousand dollars and the Porro Prism Legend just over a hundred. The Legend is so nice it is hard to imagine what kind of difference could be found for that spread in price. I did purchase another 10X50 no brand name cheap pair for around twenty dollars from a mail order vendor and there is no comparison between the Legend and the cheap pair even though they are both 10x50. The cheap pair are junk that will either sit on the shelf or be given to a 5 or 6 year old that might appreciate them while the Legend invites you to use them. If someone were using the cheap pair and then tried the Legend they would feel they had emerged from the dark-ages. Even my 8x25 Bushnell's are superior to the cheap pair.I am quite happy with my Bushnell Legend 10x50. I feel like they are good quality for the price paid.
