I replaced my OEM radio that had failed in 07 Cobalt and installed this after finding out that the car uses a 11 bit bus system that without the OEM radio the door chimes and seat belt chimes would not work with out this installed. it has a pretty fair wireing diagram with it as well and allows the radio to stay on for 10 min after the car has been shut off just like the OEM did.
