Contented kitties

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and had it shipped to her. The assembly was not difficult, and her 2 kittens went up to the top immediately. They've been using it as a scratching post, and taking turns (alright, sometimes displacing each other!) from the top. It looks nice in her home, too. Highly recommend!

I purchased this mainly because it was hugely on sale. I was not particularly pleased with the shipping experience. I chose next day shipping, and only one box arrived. I had to wait two more days to get my entire product. Amazon was great and refunded my shipping costs though.Once I finally got both boxes, I started to set it up. The instructions were very very simple. And by that I mean there wasn't much there. Just a picture of where each part goes and the screw that holds it together. Once I inventoried the pieces and figured out which ones were which in the picture, set up was fairly easy. I do recommend following the one written direction that says to start from the top platform and work down. I did not see that until half way through building bottom up. This caused me to undo some of the work I did. I also recommend not putting the poles above the top platform on until after the rest of the unit is assembled.Once the tower was assembled, I noticed it was a bit wobbly. This most likely has something to do with me not fully tightening the screws. My cat's aren't yet very heavy, so it's not an issue now. When they get bigger, I may go back and tighten what I can. The base is really heavy, so it wont tip easily if I don't tighten.My cats LOVE this tower. I have it in front of the balcony window where I have bird feeders for the cats to watch the birds. I actually turned the top seat around so it faced the window instead of the room. Although the rope is now on the side of the tower instead of in the middle, I don't think my cats care much since it's now easier to see out the window when in that seat. And they can still get to the rope from the platform and the top of the enclosed area further down.
