XS Scuba's 7 mm Pyrostretch Two-Piece Suit is warm and versatile. When you're diving in cold water you have 14 mm of insulation for your body core which will guarantee a warm dive. Wearing the step-in jacket as a standalone will give you great mobility in temperate water making this a great jacket for cool breath holding experiences. However you use this two piece suit you will be assured warm diving. With 7 mm PyroStretch Nylon II Neoprene Rubber that gives incredible stretch for a custom-like fit. All glued and blind-stitched seam construction, spine pad in farmer john, molded rubber kneepads, heavy-duty #10-YKK zipper with bronze slider all mean one durable and warm suit. Initial impressions

When I say initial, I mean exactly that. I haven't had it in the water yet. Hey, it's winter and my pond is frozen over. When I dive at this time of year, I wear a drysuit. But I got the suit yesterday...and tried it on. I got a medium and it's tight, but not super tight. So that's fine, but the one issue I will point out is the length of the legs on the farmer john. They end way above my ankles. I'm just over 5'10", so I expected it to be a little short...but not that much. If you have long legs...the farmer john does not. I'd say the farmer john might fit you okay if you're 5'8"...with average inseam for that height...maybe 30". My waist at 31" was not a problem...much bigger than that and it might be.The material quality seems okay, but again...have not used it yet. The neck area seems rather loose on the jacket. Better have a hood with a good neck skirt on it to fit underneath the jacket and fill in the space.
