Fabulous Coffee Carafe!

I chose Stanley because I know they are nearly indestructable. My father (a farmer) once drove over his Stanley mug with a tractor by accident. The Stanley mug survived and is still working today. While this carafe may not withstand a tractor driving over it, it will certainly take anything my little family can deal out. It keeps coffee hot (not warm, hot) and fresh tasting for hours. It has the beautiful stainless steel look but does not fingerprint or watermark. We love it!

I looked for so long for a dishwasher-safe carafe. Both this and the Thermos Nissan 34 Ounce Stainless Steel Carafe are great.The cap has to be hand washed (comes apart but not as easily as the nissan one).I would probably choose the nissan over this one; they both function identically and perfectly that it really doesn't matter.Because it's dishwasher safe, this will get used a lot. And because it's so sturdy, I expect it will last a really really long time (few months now with no sign of wear).

I AM PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE CARAFE, BUT DISAPPOINTED WITH THE DEGREE WITH WHICH THE COFFE IS KEPT WARM. AND WARM IS WHAT IT IS. NOT HOT.ALSO, NO DIRECTIONS, AND HOW TO REMOVE THE STOPPER.
