This Guide Rod Laser fits the ParaOrdnance 1911, Matte Stainless Finish. Battery Model: LMS-392 (readily available silver oxide batteries commonly used in watches) Accuracy (20 Yards): User Adjustable. Laser Operating Temperature: 15°-120° F. Wavelength: 635nm (red-orange) Power Output: 5mW (brightest available - blinks for highest visibility) Spot size: at 7 yds 5/16”, spot size at 25 yds 3/4”. If any firearm has been ported, fluted or compensated either by the original manufacturer or by a gunsmith, LaserMax will NOT guarantee alignment. outstanding product

Absolutely the most practical laser for a firearm. It is vastly superior to any of the awkward exterior clamp on decices. Automatically bore sighted by taking the place of the recoil spring support. The on off lever is easy to work and accessable and does not interfere with my holster. And no change in weight or balance. Thank you for an outstanding product.

Needs a stronger return spring

First time out the 1911 type auto did everything except smokestack. I got out my Wilson springs and cut one off as short as the original and installed it. I haven't had a chance to test it yet. This is the only reason for 3 out of 5 stars.
