My go to crampon for Mt. Rainier and Mt. Washington. These can handle a modest ice wall and seem more walkable than the G12, which is overkill for most. I have front pointed comfortably on 60 degree slopes of hard snow and some ice. The slightly less aggressive points compared to the G12 seem helpful when mixing rock and glacier and you don't want to risk tripping. If there is going to be any rock, I'd argue against the aluminum version; the steel here will last a lot longer. If conditions are tough and you are tired, you don't want to be putting crampons on and off.
