Stilts are a perennial favorite around the world. Now the basic stilt design has been made a whole lot better - easier to learn, easier to use, more ergonomically correct, and more FUN!
Most stilts are simply straight poles with foot platforms attached to the sides. The tops of the poles rest behind the shoulders, forcing the upper body to slump forward. Not ours!
WALKAROOS have an S-bend which wraps comfortably around the shoulders. Another bend at the foot platform (11" above the ground) places your weight directly over the lower pole for vastly improved control. WALKAROO Balance Stilts also quickly adjust to accommodate anyone from 4 ft. 6 in. to 6 ft. 6 in. (137-198 cm), so the whole family can get in on the fun!

good for little beginners

These are a lot of fun but my daughters (9 and 12) mastered them almost immediately and started complaining that they could not adjust them to be taller. The stilts themselves have adjustable handles to accomodate different heights of users, but the actual distance from the ground is not adjustable. Maybe that's a good thing --a fall from 11 inches is a lot better than a fall from 3 feet and we're not exactly trying out for the circus. Also, these are very sturdy--I comfortably walked around on them and I'm pretty much pushing their advertised weight capacity.

I really liked these stilts. They are a lot of fun......'Till you get tired of 'um. But, I would not get them for someone under 5-5 and 1/2 yers old. They may get mad if they can't learn to walk on them rite away. Whan I got mine I was walking on them just fine after 2 howers.Over all they are great!!!!!Hope this is helpful.....Bye!!!

FUN FOR AN ALMOST 8 YR. OLD

Walkaroo Stilts were bought for my grandson. He loves them, though he must have help yet. He has only used them for, maybe, 1-1/2 hrs. so far. He'll get it. I wish the foot rests were adjustable, but I bought this set of stilts because the ergonomic design looked like they would be easier for him to learn to walk on.
