Well made but a bait and switch

This item is well made and fits properly, however it is listed as model 527S2. If you go to the vendor's web site ([...]), model 527S2 is the same as the original equipment grate and is made with 3/8" thick stainless rods. The one that Amazon ships is actually model 547S2 but labeled 527S2. Model 547S2 is made with 1/4" stainless rods. It has a lot more open space between the bars than the original and will let smaller pieces of food through. This item is also less expensive on the vendor's 'web site.

Excellent price well made

I looked at other grates to replace the one in my DCS grill. Went by shipping weight. This one is very well made and sturdy. Good price and value

My grill had cast iron grids that simply deteriorated and were unsafe to cook on. These were a perfect fit and have revitalized my grill. Heavy 1/4 inch SS. First steak came out with perfect grill marks. Like having a new grill only better.
