Product Description
The unique rubber-cushion pad, made by hand using Mason Pearson's original techniques, allows for effective and efficient brushing. It is kind to use and massages the scalp.
The cellulose plastic handle is hand-polished and any sharp edges are removed to make the hairbrush more comfortable to hold. This handle was developed from the original wooden design which we continue to make in small quantities.
We continue to try to improve on the established design : for example, the "Child" brush is in response to a customer's request. This is designed to enable a child to become accustomed to the activity of brushing. Similar to this, in the materials used, is the "Sensitive", which has been developed for people who have thinning hair or very fine hair. This brush gently stimulates the scalp. The natural extension has been to have a "Sensitive" model for those men who are "thin on top".
We build our products to last as long as possible. While we cannot make indestructible products, we use the best materials available so that, with a little care, they should give good service.We try to make improvements continuously. We have developed our own special nylon and take particular care in our selection of natural bristles to use the best combination for each brush.

great for your hair, worth it

I bought a bristle one last year and it was not the right one for me. I was so disappointment. Three months before, i went to a salon in NYC. And my stylist use this brush to brush my hair, and i found that my hair become so smooth. So i decided to try it again. the Nylon and Bristle one. It is absolutely amazing. My Popular was a gift in 1978 from my then-boyfriend's mom (bless her heart!). I had no idea for years how expensive it was, I just knew it was the best hairbrush EVER. I have used it virtually every day since, clean it occasionally, and it is still in perfect condition. I have fairly long hair that is fine, but thick, and this brush makes my hair smoother and shinier than any other--plus, it feels so good when you brush your hair with it. Amazing brush, and totally worth the price. I would never give up my Popular.

This is the best brush a lady, young or old, could ever have. I purchased this brush for my little girl for Christmas and she will treasure it her whole life. Be sure to confirm the size you want - this is the full size, "Popular" version in pink.
