Best Marching Bari for the Price / Weight / Quality

The mouthpipe accepts standard large shank mouthpieces, and is a best value high-quality marching baritone I've used. Many drum corp's rely on this King model because it gets a great tone and has better overall note-to-note intonation, AND isn't as heavy when compared with the similar (behemoth) King marching Euphonium. The Sounders FC's marching "Sound Wave" band has been playing these for several years now, and they've been shown to be reliable work horses. The hard case - like all large horn hard cases - is sturdy, and unwieldy, but is the best option if you're checking the horn (as bus or air luggage). Older versions of the case were 'plywood boxes' wrapped in aluminum, but new horns come in a lighter, rounded hard plastic case. Also, I recommend getting a sturdy gig bag for this horn for when you're transporting via car on a regular basis.
