You NEED the extra handle

Okay, I don't actually own this brand of pex crimper, but I do have one like it. You MUST MUST MUST buy the one with the extra handle so you can hold the cinch ring with one hand and crimp with the other. The other ones will just piss you off.

This tool is an absolute delight to use. Eared rings are crimped effortlessly and correctly. I redid crimps made by a non-ratchet crimper. Now all the crimp rings are snug and tight.Use this tool once and you will quickly forget its price. There is nothing like the right tool to get a job done.

About half way through the "whole house" plumbing job. Works like a charm. The 3rd grip makes it so much easier. I have XL hands. It takes A LOT of power to do the clamp. I found a trick with the initial clamp placement. Grab the clamp, tighten the tool to the 1st click. That's enough to solidly hold the clamp to properly position it. Next time I go under the house, I'm taking pipe extensions for the handles. After 20 or so clamps, I'm pooped. Quality product - well made - precise.
