Not so comfortable

while i like the look of this shoe...my foot is not very happy in the shoe, it has take a while to break it in....so I am on the fence about whether i will ever love the shoe !

quality leather boots

In a nutshell I'm happy with my purchase because of the quality, versatility, and pull on styling of this boot. The comfort is ok and I think will improve with time.I usually wear a size 8 but after reading reviews I opted for the 8.5 and I'm glad I did. I definitely need the extra room if wearing thick socks and even a size 9 would have been workable. I am very self conscious about my feet looking too big since I am 5'3 but I don't think they look too bulky. As mentioned by others they definitely require breaking in. Mine are still new and they are fine for an hour or so but then they start to feel uncomfortable. I attribute that to the stiffness which I anticipate will improve with time. This boots are great with leggings, skinny jeans and dresses and I'm looking forward to working them into my wardrobe in many other ways. I waterproofed them as I plan to use them through the winter here in Michigan.As far as heel slippage which many mention, when I tightened the strap along the front it took care of the issue but then I had to bend down to pull the boots on and off. I like that I can just step into the boots and not have to bend down to pull them on so I leave the front buckle a little loose and deal the with my heel moving in the shoe which doesn't really bother me.I'm thinking I'll be wearing these boots for years to come.

Love them!

Im in love with my new boots! They look great wish dresses, leggings and my skinny jeans fit easily into them as well. They are a little wide in the heal but with socks they work great. They probably wouldn't be as comfortable without it. Wore them all day shopping with my 3 year old and felt great!
