Product Description
In the late 1700s, wool blankets were so important to comfort and survival that they were used as a form of currency in trading between trappers and native americans. Beaver pelts were exchanged for blankets through the hudson's bay company and its outposts throughout northern canada.

Very nice but a little light

I have owned a full sized Hudson Bay Blanket in years ago and I thought this one would be the same heavy, thick weight. It was not. It is a nice blanket, but considering how lightweight it is, for the money, you could buy a heavier wool army blanket that would do the job. If warmth is the main goal, get something else. If you just want a nice lap blanket that looks nice this is very nice.

Love this blanket - have had it for 2 years now and it still looks brand new - these really hold up and and no matter how cold your feet are - in 5 minutes - they are toasty (and I am cold natured for sure!)
