Does what I wanted

I just used my step to finish up a transmission filter/fluid change on a 7.3 power stroke. The step made all the difference. I will probably weld in a little support piece across the front of the step to stop flexing. Otherwise very happy with item.

I might end up returning this item even though I really like it. The only reason I might not keep it is that it that the wheels of my SUV don't align with the roof rack position so it doesn't really help me when securing my kayak to my Honda Element. I had to get a small step ladder instead. So the only warning I can really give people is to make sure that what you're doing on your roof rack aligns with your wheels. If not, this isn't the best product for you.Construction wise, it's strong and durable looking and fits securely over the wheel to the point where I felt like I could easily stand on the end of it and not lose balance. A great product overall, just not the best fit for my situation.
