Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR AF-S DX Nikkor Lens + Nikon 55-200mm f/4.0-5.6G VR AF-S DX Nikkor Lens for D40, D40x, D60, D80, D200 & D300 Digital SLR Cameras (Lenses Refurbished by Nikon U.S.A.)I bought this lens to replace a Nikkor DX 18-55. Actually, to replace 2 of them.I shoot with Fuji Pro S3 and Pro S3 UV/IR. Twice, while on the camera, the Nikkors, with their plastic lens mount, have broken off the camera. (Once in the case & on camera and once outside of the case - and around my neck - while photographing the recent inauguration. I decided to chance the Sigma and 'lo and behold' it came with a metal mount. It is much more durable for the active user.Focusing is quick and images are sharp. it does the job of a pro lens well.If you baby your cameras (obviously I don't - I work with them) the Nikkor DX 18-55 is fine. When it breaks, consider the Sigma as the replacement lens.

Bought this lens to use as a wide angle landscape lens. It is great so far. The sharpness is excellent, it focuses quickly and zooms easily. I would reccommend this lens to anyone looking for a lens in this focal range, especially for the price.

Works as advertised. I agonized over this far too long....this is more than adequate replacement for the Nikkor lens I dropped...
