bright, stylish, efficient & problematic

Just installed 3 of these in our house. As another reviewer said installation is "easy with two people", a little trickier when you do it yourself but still not too bad. They're quite bright and IMHO stylish. We like them so much we're getting their oval version American Fluorescent CSV3232NT Contemporary Flush Mount, Nickel Finish Trim Bands, 32-Inches long 18-Inches wide for another location.Additional note: after having these up for 10 days, I went to turn one on and it "flashed" once and then failed to come on at all. Now I have to determine if it is the bulbs or the transformer. The others we have up are fine, but a 1 in 3 chance of burn-in death is why I lowered my review from 5 to 3 stars.

Elegant light for a small price

excellent product but a little hard to install since the mounts don't work - the distance between the 2 holes do not fit the junction box. you will need an additional bracket (not provided) and two persons to mount this light fixture. I like cool white but the 2 fluorescent lights provided give a yellowish light that simulates natural sunlight. Perhaps this is more pleasing to others but I had to change them to cool white for my study.

Excellent Company

The light looks good, puts out a lot of light. After 4 months the ballast failed which is an all too common problem in two bulb circline fixtures. I called American Fluorescent about the problem with the ballast, no questions asked, a brief less than a minute phone call and they had a new ballast on the way which arrived 3 days later. I can't say enough about American Fluorescent's telephone customer service. They are polite, on top of it, and immediately respond to your concerns. I normally hate corporate America, but this is one great company. There are a lot of companies out there that need to take customer service lessons from American Fluorescent.
