4Pretty good....

This item apparently ships directly from the manufacturer and there is no tracking number given, so there is some stress involved with wondering when it will arrive. But it came quickly in two boxes, one the Kayak and the other the Pro Package material, and all were in good shape. It unpacks easily and I quickly inflated and checked it out. There is plenty of room for two persons or a person and a dog, but with two people there is not much room for overnight gear. I took it out for a 4 hour float down the Rogue River with no problems. I scraped over quite a few rocks and gravel bars, and the bottom looks fine and seems quite durable. It is very hard to steer the kayak with river current and two people on board, it just wants to spin. I have ordered the stabilizer for the kayak which I hope will help with the steering. With the pro package you get some extras, including the pump and seats. The pump is quite nice, seems durable, high volume, and takes only a few minutes to pump up the kayak, and is easy to pack away on trips. The two seats that are included are the big disappointment, for me they are really cheap. By the end of the first trip on the river the straps were ripped out and the seat was useless. The other seat I sat in and could hear the stiches ripping everytime I moved. The other problem was the directions - they are the type of directions that are written by someone who has done it before but make no sense to someone who just wants to hook up the seats correctly for the first time. They are also not accurate, as I called up the factory to get some guidance and was told "that particular procedure isn't done anymore", that the particular seat mounting instruction was a leftover from a previous product and not applicable to this one. Also the directions were mostly illegible as they have been copied so many times. The directions may not be a big issue, as most everything except seat hookup is fairly obvious even to a rookie, but it can be frustrating. All in all I'm happy, the kayak is the right size I was looking for, enough space for camping gear, and seems very durable. They just need some decent seats.
