Product Description
Sweet and full bodied, our espresso blend requires that we roast each varietal separately to the darkness that brings out certain flavor nuances, and then blend the beans to create a wonderful shot of espresso. The goal of a good espresso roast is to maximize the sweetness and aroma of the coffee while minimizing the bitterness and acidity. Most roasters go too dark with their espresso, which explains why many people expect espresso to be very dark and bitter. Good espresso is rich, heavy-bodied, and almost syrupy specialty coffee. Most people prefer to have their espresso in a cafe latte or other steamed-milk based drinks. Our roast master however, roasts these varietal beans to produce a blend that when brewed properly can be consumed and enjoyed by itself.

I Stole This Coffee

After getting an email from Amazon noting that this coffee was on a closeout sale at 40% off the regular price, I stumbled on an additional 20% off coupon. A 60% discount?? Too good to be true, but it all worked!Even if the coffee was a touch above average, I'd be well satisfied. It was terrific. I bought a few "on-sale" varieties from Camano Island Coffee Roasters, vacuum packed them, and put them in my freezer. A great buy on excellent coffee.

Spent a good portion of last year on the island and found the Camano Island Roasters in person and up close. My father was drinking (cough) that canned stuff and since I was living with him taking care of him, it was time to fine "real" coffee. This is real coffee and it's wonderful. So full of flavor. If you ever get a chance to bounce out to the island it's a great little afternoon trip to the store. They carry more than coffee, the salted caramels sent me over the moon. A very friendly place, fun to go to, kind employees. Oh. and the coffee, haven't had a bad cup yet, it's all good! If I could, I'd move out there and ask for a job.

I have tried a lot of vendors espresso coffee and this one has no bitter after taste. you can very the strength / taste with no bitterness.
