Boss Rocks

This is an excellent effects board for an "on the go" bass player. It is compact and offers all the effects and adjustments a bass needs. The body is very strong so you dont have to worry about breaking a pedal. Boss is simply the way to go.

Solid, volume pedal and tuner

Well built. I use it mainly for volume pedal and tuner. Stereo out is useful too. Most of the effects do not sound as good as a stomp box would so do not rely on it to replace a whole pedalboard. Balanced out would have been nice, too.. On the bright side, tuner works well. Just tuner, volume pedal and 2 outs makes it worth to carry around. Find a patch that you will like and that will be a bonus.

Good Board with major limitations...

The marketing team at Boss and all the reviews I havde read fail to mention one big fault with this product in its literature. You can only stack three effects at a time, one per switch. While this might seem okay it is impossible to do things like use a reverb and delay at the same time as they are associated with the same switch. Look at the text next to each pedal. If you want any two effects listed in a row at the same time you are out of luck. One per column PERIOD.Also, wha pedal on/off takes more force than it should. You practically have to stand on it to make it engage. Requires additional $25 wall wart.Its a great idea, sturdy build, nice clean processors, at a good price with a major programming limitation. I will keep mine as it is the same price as a decent volume tuner combo and the verb and comp are decent, but I advise effect tweak heads to look elsewhere.
