I have had this installed now for over 6 months. It still looks great and the performance boost and sound improvement are very noticeable. It seals up nice to the hood so I have not had any problems with excess dirt or particles but I do not drive in off-road conditions.

k&n intake kit for '07 nitro

first off it took 3 days for 2 day delivery, good thing i didn't have to pay for it.next, remember this is a reveiw for the intake kit not amazon. amazon has done an outstanding job with all my orders.putting the kit together was no trouble at all, eveything was there and fit great. the trouble was taking off the old parts. the instructions say pull this off and pull that off, not so easy.here are the 3 issues i had:1-pulling the old air box out. it's held in with 3 large gromments. it took over 20 minutes of pulling and prying to get it out. dodge should have had 2 bolts hold it in place, would have been out in 2 minutes. durning that we cracked the fresh air duct2- removing the fresh air duct. it's also held in with gromments, so it took awhile to pop out.3- removing the air temperature sensor and installing it. as i was lucky not to damage it, we had to use small screwdrivers to slowly pull it out of the old intake. installing it was not that bad, maybe we were just being too careful.that's it, it's in and working! sounds great and you can feel the differnace.*****remember this is about uninstalling parts******pro:GREAT! buy itcon:taking out old intake
