Tremendous sound for the price

My dad has a pair of $3000 Mirage speakers and they do sound better than this pair, but I'm surprised by how similar a sound I've gotten with a pair that costs about 90% less. They are crystal clear and surprisingly deep considering the size of the drivers. The omnipolar design does provide some spatial depth that I hadn't heard on my previous pair.The speakers are also very attractively designed. They appear to cost a lot more than they actually do. They sound well enough to be your primary stereo speakers for a low-end hi-fi system, but in addition, they are the perfect high to place behind a couch as rear speakers. They would sound so much better than most bookshelf or wall-mounted rear speakers!
