Really nice for beginners

I purchased this for my 11 year old son. I'm impressed with the quality and the functions. It has lots of sounds, beats and pre-programmed songs. When the programmed songs play, the keys will light up to challenge you to play along. It's almost like a game, and my son is delighted with it.I bought mine with headphones, and a stand. I am please with both. ONE WORD OF CAUTION... mine came with the incorrect A/C adapter. It sounds like this happens frequently. The users manual clearly states that this is compatible with the Casio "AD-5" adapter. You can also use other brands that are compatible to "DC 9V 850mA". These should be fairly easy to find at Toys R Us, radio shack or maybe even Walmart.If the seller doesn't specify the correct adapter, it may be best to buy it without one, then get the adapter separately. It also runs on 6 AA batteries, so you can still play for awhile without an adapter.I am happy with it and I'm sure you will be too.
