I got this HDD for my PS3 and it's great. It also runs at 5400rpm so it won't overheat in the PS3.

I purchased this HDD for my PS3. So far I haven't had any problems. This was probably one of the easiest swaps I've ever done. Just a side note - if you do use this for your PS3, just be careful you don't strip the screws when removing the old HDD.For the money though, you can't beat it. Good stuff!
