VERY IMPRESSED

I went shopping in the stores along with online to get a good comparison.I ended up buying THIS one because the quality APPEARED to be good.The weight was great as was the price. I couldn't find anything close to amazon's price.I was even HAPPIER when it arrived! Beautiful! Great quality!

A little disappointed

So I received this necklace a couple weeks before Christmas and I LOVED IT! It was a little smaller and lighter than expected, but with how gold is priced nowadays it wasn't that big of a deal. I left it in the pouch it was delivered in and put it back in the box, wrapped it and gave it to my fiance for Christmas. Well, he opened it Christmas morning and put it on only to find that the clasp was broken. Not only was the clasp broken, but there was a link that was partially open, so the day after Christmas I had to take it to a jewelry store so they could fix it. I would have just sent it back to amazon, but I didn't have a receipt, so this is definitely a learning experience. I would definitely recommend this necklace, but REALLY, REALLY check it out before throwing the receipt out!!!

This is the first time I've ever bought a piece of jewelry, having grown up poor in a small town. I'm doing pretty well in the big city nowadays, but I guess I'm still a broke hick at heart.Compared to the stuff I've seen in stores, this is definitely as large, sturdy, and cheap as other more knowledgeable reviewers have said. My girlfriend loved it, and I loved the fact that it didn't burn a hole in my savings.That said, 20 inches is a lot smaller than I thought. It fit my girlfriend well, but anyone else who doesn't know the difference between a karat and a carrot might want to keep that in mind. I don't think there's any way it would fit around (for example) my own neck, and I'm not exactly a beef machine.
