This is an excellent product.It is difficult to compare this product, because there is so much history connected with an Hudson Bay blanket. Truly, this blanket is beautiful. This Pink Stripe 100 percent wool blanket is not as cozy as a high end 100 percent cotton product. But the Pink Stripe limited edition is beautiful, and the quality is difficult to compare. For a wool blanket, this product is very approachable to the skin.I made this blanket a gift for my 20 year old daughter. She loved it. Part of the appreciation is the history that the blanket has in North America. Part of the attraction is that this blanket may be passed down to her children, when and if she has a child. This is a quality blanket.Honestly, this blanket received the same response as her first pair of designer shoes.I'll bring in a Merino Wool for comparison soon.The Victoria Merino Wool is very soft and cozy. The blanket I purchased is truly a keeper, but thinner and softer than this Hudson Bay. Both are excellent.
