Denis Wick Extending Tube Mute for Bass Trombone Product Description:
- Works with tube in, extended, or removed Particularly good in low register
Product Description
Poor intonation and projection have long been problems associated with extending tube mutes. By Craig M. Hamm
For years, I have been putting off buying a harmon mute for my bass trombone. I'm finally playing in a musical production where this is required, so I went ahead and ordered it. It sounds great, and seems to have a very good build quality. I can push it pretty hard, and it doesn't vibrate like my tenor harmon mute. The stem is a pretty tight fit, so you don't have to worry about it rattling around or falling out during a performance. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.
