Amazing view without distortion

I've used this mirror for a season in my track-prepped Mitsubishi Evo 8, and I'm a huge fan of it. The wrap-around view is phenomenal, and what is disorienting is there is no visible distortion in the nearly 180 degree view you get when you look in this mirror. I can see from just off my left shoulder, all around the back to just off my right shoulder - it really is something. The only difficulty I've found with this is translating what you see into your own bearings. It is literally like taking that half circle view and just unrolling it so it's flat viewing, which kind of blows your mind. I find I get used to it after looking into it for awhile, but each time I get in the car I have to refresh my orientation in regards to the view. Don't get me wrong, it's great to get that wide a field of vision, especially when you can't turn your head as much due to harnesses, a fixed back race seat, and a HANS device. It will not make rollbar blindspots disappear, but it certainly helps you see on either side of them.The mirror itself is pretty easy to mount on a rollbar, and the adjustability of the mounting brackets ensures you can get it positioned any way you need it. It has remained pretty clean, and has only required a quick wipe of a clean cloth to remove the very slight haze it has picked up in 1 year's ownership (wish I could say the same for the inside of my front and rear windshields!). No shake or vibration in the mount is visible in the mirror image.
