Not perfect - but it works!

My mother needed to have a frequent change of surfaces - and this works very well. It is easy to move in and out of the chair multiple times per day. I don't think anything of this type is going to be perfect in every chair, but in our case, this is wonderful. In our case - it did not fit the wheelchair well, but is perfect in the recliner. The back does not come up high enough, so we need extra pillows to keep her shoulders comfortable and back straight - but those are the adjustments you need to make for every 'extra' - so just be ready to do a little experimenting with the combination of individual and chair in which you are using this pad.

This product is very well made. I do wish it had more mounting straps to attach it to the wheel chair it tends to slide a bit. But I can not complain neither can my body sitting in it. It's very soft and well worth the price.

Use right out of the box, reasonably-priced

I bought this for someone who is in a wheelchair most of the day. It's usable right out of the box, and is far more comfortable than sitting in a wheelchair. It fit the standard wheelchair we used, you just lay it in and tie the strings around the chair to secure (like a chair pad for a dining room chair). It's fluffy and foamy on one side, waterproof on the other. A spray with Scotch-Guard or a waterproof spray might be helpful. Great for someone who spends long hours sitting in a wheelchair, to increase comfort and reduce possibility of bedsores.
