It is also a wonderful piece for still life compositions. The face is shown with one eye closed and one eye opened; and has the cheek and neck musculature exposed. Any way that you light this head you will be inspired to draw paint photograph or just enjoy it as a work of art all by itself! The casting is very well done; unlike many head castings that are lumpy and lop-sided. Overall the head neck and base measure 22 inches high. The face is approximately 10 inches high and the base is a cube that is approximately 6-1/2 inches wide tall and deep.

I'm an illustrator and I always need tools like this to keep on improving my art. Basically I've been looking for stuff like this since I started getting serious about my artwork. Bought mine a few months ago and have to say its probably one of the best purchases I've made as far as supplies go. I found this item on another site and paid $10 more, so buy it here. When I got it from "the art store", it was not broken or chipped. I was so happy with it, and it is spectactular in my studio. Im worried about it falling over if an eathquake should happen because of the weight above, therefore will make a stand for it, to fit in the hollowed stand. Im not sorry for this purchase even though I paid ten bucks more.
