Decent Size Locket

I discovered that it is hard to find lockets these days, unless you search the web, and then there still isn't loads to choose from that may meet your criteria. I was in search of a heart locket of a decent size that I could attach to my bridal bouquet. During my search I only found one other locket that was larger than this one, but it was ugly, in my opinion. I thought this one was very pretty. Although the first one came damaged, with a ding on the front and scuff marks all over the back, the second one was perfect. I dreaded the whole exchange process but Amazon made it amazingly easy for me, and even shipped the second locket before receiving the damaged one. They also covered the price of the return shipping. All is well now. The only major complaint that I have is that the locket is VERY difficult to pry open. I won't be opening it much on my wedding day and I won't ever wear this locket after my wedding, so this isn't an issue for me. FYI-This is a four-picture locket and can open in one of two ways. Amazon does not inform the customer how the locket opens in the product details and could not tell me when I spoke to a representative on the phone. However, the rep was extremely pleasant and willing to help, but Amazon just did not have any additional information about it in their computers. I had seen another four-picture locket on this site where the four hearts formed a "shamrock" design once opened. But this one is not like that. This one just turns as if you are turning pages in a book. Hope this info. is helpful to someone.

The locket is very nice looking and is decently sized. The only problem I had with the locket was actually getting the pictures into it, it's kind of a hassle. My girlfriend loved it.

A Really Nice Gift

I got one of these for my wife for Valentine's Day 2011. She'd never had one before, and it looked so nice and shiny when she opened the box. She loved it! Strongly recommended.So far we haven't seen any of the scratching problem the other reviews have mentioned. But you have to expect that with silver that has a mirror finish like this.
