I should have bought this one first!

I bought this watch because I needed a reliable and aesthetically pleasing solar powered watch. I had a Nixon and it was relatively .....well, worthless. The 100m water resistance was a joke, it didn't make it past 10cm before filling with water, and as a serious fly-fisherman, the Nixon was not going to cut it for my lifestyle.I researched Citizens eco drives, Seiko watches with solar movements, and the Casio line of Solar Edifice watches. I have several Casio watches and I love my G5600(its a tank!), and no other company matches the quality, dependability, and affordability of Casio. I took a chance and ordered the EF-S12D-1AVDF.It has not been on my wrist very long, but already been subjected to long work days and a full day on the river. It is higher quality than I expected, and the looks and functionality of the watch grow on me every day. Solid stainless links (not solid endlinks though),Mineral Crystal (not plastic), High polish stainless steal casing, Alarm, and Date display (I dont yet have a use for the stopwatch function) and most importantly it is solar powered. I have a feeling this watch will be with me for some time. If you are in need of a handsome and versatile watch, I suggest you find your way to the purchase button.
