Timex T-Series T2M552

I've had this watch for about a week and really like it.Pro's - It's very unique and has a solid build quality. I am not a fan of the latest trend of large faced watches (some exceeding 48mm) but this is a good balance between modern and classic styles (the face is 42mm.) I really like the leather band's styling. The three holes on either side give it a distinct style. I've already had quite a few comments on it and it's usually the band that catches people's eye. Most folks have been surprised to find such unique styling from Timex.Con's - The leather band is a little thinner than I anticipated. It's growing on me, but I'm not in love with it yet. The instruction manual that comes with the watch is useless. Evidently Timex is trying to save money by seemingly using one manual for every watch they own. They should save even more money and just not include one with the watch. Oddly I found a very helpful PDF file online through Timex.com (Why would they write two different manuals...?) I've provided the link below. What I like most about this watch is the case aesthetic, price, chronograph, and date placement. What I think could be improved about the watch is the band durability, band fit, and chronograph reset calibration. I found a tag inside my box indicating that my reseller acquired this watch from Costco in Florida and added what looked like a $20 market-up. My battery lasted 350 days about two weeks shy of the one year date. I paid $10 to replace the battery as the case looked like it used a twist-off tool. Overall, I felt the watch remains an okay value for the money which is why I rounded up to it four stars. It is a probably a three and a half star product.

I do love this watch! My only complaint is I wish the bezel had a brushed finish that matched the case. Other than that this is a great looking watch and it does keep excellent time..
