The Tamrac 5258 CyberPack 8 Photo/Computer Backpack combines a laptop, digital and film SLR equipment, and accessories in one convenient, easy-to-carry backpack. It has plenty of space to accommodate two pro-sized digital and film SLR cameras, many lenses, including a 13.5" lens attached to a camera body and a couple of strobes. The laptop is protected in a separate, foam-padded compartment in the rear that allows quick access. Rear laptop compartment holds an Apple 17" PowerBook G4 and other laptops up to 11 x 2 x 15.5". The 5258 has Windowpane-Mesh accessory pockets visibly store AC adapters, cables and other accessories. A professional tripod can be securely carried using the QuickClip tripod attachment system. It has a thick padded shoulder harness, padded hip belt, and sternum strap ease the burden of carrying this well-equipped pack. I have multiple cameras digital/regular still, and DV cams. For a long time I had one shoulder bag that I always needed a jigsaw puzzle champion to put everything needed for a photo shoot in the bag. As my shouldler bag wore out I decided to look at backpacks instead. I reviewed dozens of bags and it came down to this bag and a comparable from LowePro. I decided on this bag for several reasons the interior usable space was more flexible, had more spaces for accessories on the front flap, the zippers are concealed and have rope pull to cover them tight, the bag has a multiude of accessories(including a severe weather cover that makes the bag virtually waterproof), and the ability to carry my laptop. This pack has a very nicely padded top load slot up against your back for a laptop (in my case a Dell Latitude D820)it fits great and has space for my ac pack in the slot at the top of the pack.I have carried this pack through multiple airports and on the plane as a carry on. With my old shoulder bag it would take 10-15 minutes at airport security to check the old bag this pack I unzip lid and I am through in 5 minutes. The pack fits well in the over head and carries amazing well even fully loaded. I carried this pack at Disney a couple of years ago for the full day and other than sweat on my shoulders had not a complaint, even my wife has carried it.When I vacation I can typically have:Laptop and ACDigital Still with 3 lens (including 75-300 zoom)Digital CD cameraDVD Video CamStandard SLR with its lensMedia(for all cameras CF cards, DVD and CD media, film)Cleaning itemspower chargers for all camerasEliminating vacation use it is extremely nice to have all my cameras, chargers, accessories, and supplies in one pickup and go bag.I do have to admit although this pack is amazing and carries everything I have with space to spare I did purchase a sling pack from LowePro http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-SlingShot-All-Weather-Digital-Backpack/dp/B000BAX50G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1266102010&sr=8-2 so I can cutdown to the essentials when I take the family to the Zoo, or museum.The two bags together are a one, two punch of awesome convenience and flexiblity
