Bad bounce, shallow seat, unresponsive seller

I purchased this because it is the only bouncer that bounces AND vibrates. However, the bounce is very jiggly and not smooth at all. The lowest speed is still pretty fast. In addition, it is the bottom seat that bounces and not the back, so if you are looking for an automated seat that gives that the same effect as the fisher price bouncy seat, this is not it. I would try the Bright Start Ingenuity seat. Also, this seat was not good for my infant son, who slid off just like another fellow reviewer's experience. He's 3 months now and sits fine on it when buckled in, but the fisher price bouncer seat is deep enough to hold a baby at infancy. Also, I registered for this item on my baby registry and overlooked the fact that this was sold by a third party seller. Trying to return this item was impossible because they were completely unresponsive.

LIFE SAVER

I just got this for my 2 month old. He gets very fussy and does not want to sleep. We noticed he would calm when bounced him. Though quite the workout for the arms, it got very tiring. We bought this seat and the actual bouncing action puts him to sleep within minutes. LOVE IT!!!

You couldn't pay me to use another bouncer...unless it had a self-bouncing feature as good or better than this one. In fact, we have an older style that we've just about worn out the auto-bounce on, and we're getting ready to buy another one.We use the Happiest Baby on the Block method of calming our babies (swaddle, swing, shush, suck, and side-lying), so we do a lot of bouncing and swinging. With the older two, we just had a manual bouncer. First off, they all say that the baby's own movements are supposed to activate the bouncing motion, etc. Definitely didn't work that way for us. It just seemed to make them more upset. So *we* had to do the bouncing, which could get very tiring, plus, for those times when they needed constant bouncing for longer periods of time, we had to be in direct contact with the bouncer at all times. By the time #3 came along, the manual bouncer had become more of a hindrance than a help. But then I ran across this one. More than a life saver...a sanity saver, especially now with #4.I really can't say enough good things about this bouncer. I'm very puzzled to see the negative reviews about babies falling out of the seat. This has never been a problem for us, and we've used it with two babies from birth through several months old.
